Alleviate your burdens like the faithful swans of grace
come into her garden its full of flowers, light and lace
God has given her the gift of ethereal imagery
and blessed her Holy hands for all eternity

Angelic music wafting from a magical harp
dusted rosy skies of pink and baby blue
as the angel strums beneath God's heavenly tarp
the swans are drawn in closely, sidled two by two

A wonderous healing happens in this natural space,
as delicate birds of wander fly from place to place;
Serenity, tranquility with every stroke of soft and slow
the artist's soul reveals itself, and then begins to glow.

We once owned a little mutt named Genie
on occasion we called her Genie Panini
we tried not to feed her table scraps n' stuff
but then again,  I had her heart on my cuff
so once in a while, we gave her little bits
to keep at bay her continuous barking fits

Each night hubby would eat a bowl of cheerio
while watching T.V. or listening to the stereo
Genie watched intently eyes peeled to the bowl
the ritual worked well,  for she never stole
he gave her 1,  there was nothing  she could do
so she crunched it while she lay beside his shoe

One day hubby went to answer the door and left
Genie hopped on the couch and left him bereft
she ate all the cheerios but she did leave him one
when he returned he saw an empty bowl no fun
He'd been outsmarted by a funny little Shih Tzu
with  Pomeranian smack, who knew what to do.

Moral of the story: Never trust a dog,  when it comes to food.

Sitting on a boulder by the ocean suddenly I forget I'm so much older
espying a red bucket at the edge of the shore the wind begins to blow
Softly, as the first light of morning enters in, I recall the first glow
of an open sea, and taking in the scent of ocean foam I begin to crave

The newborn sun that caped my frame as I dug deeper then my years
packing the sand between my M'd palms, I was lost in a moment of grace
Mother's rippling laughter and father's golden smile instinctively placed,
that's what a child remembers in a palace made by God's own crave

Wandering through my memories, I land on one that makes me smile
meeting my past  I empty the cannister of ashes into the sea then sigh
gently I let you go for I know,  "that living things eventually must die "
When I was a child I believed in everything and never question why

The sun shone in the morning and the moon shone only by night
I sat by the ocean and counted the stars until the morning light
Softly, as the first light of morning enters in, I recall the first glow
of our life as one, how much U* loved, how much I loved U* so.

as the doors open, we recall the long forgotten sermons of yesterday

h solitary moon how brightly you shine in the quiet interlude of night
magically appearing onto the waters, at the edge of the  globe as you heal.
The peaceful frequency of your bright lunar light shimmers reflecting onto
the waters below.  Ripples of calm across the sea, here to mesmerize me;
Pulsing vibrations of the most ethereal kind helping me to unwind beneath
the stars of heaven.  (B)
Oh luminescent moon how splendid you are inside a sky of ebony and stars
picturesque and beautiful as a work of art, you are the cadence of beauty;
Moon flowers bloom from every corner of my mind as I watch you softly
appear over the new horizon. All my hopes and dreams are floating  towards
your moonlit beams.  (b)
Oh dear half moon, your crescent  smile cradles my heart and reminds me
how precious Gods hands were,  the day He made a jewel such as you.
You keep us peaceful and content to watch , as you glow your light upon
the earth and you keep us wishing for sacred spaces . (B)
Oh solitary moon how brightly you shine, you are the most divine of God's
lanterns in the sky.  Were I to travel into your celestial temple I would fold
my hands just so, and mimic your purent after glow.
Thank you moon for shining down on me tonight, and thank you for allowing
me a glimpse of eternity.

I'd like to think that Shambala is the best kept secret of God's grace
The sun went ablaze at the hour of three am and blinded me
So high  was I into the air that nausea settled in
I saw a temple in this place, with doors of solid gold,
and a woman in a brown robe with eyes as bright as coal ;
"Hang on " she said to me " you'll soon be down"  and then
with a smile that broke then sun and pieced it back together  again
she spake to my heart, " welcome to Shambala "
as I re-entered my body I felt a jolt,
with my heart jackhammering inside my chest
He pushed his shopping cart towards the empty tunnel
it was full of rattling empties and a brave cocker spaniel
a penniless vagabond hiding from the rainy day pummel
wet,  cold, and hungry hunching closer to Jack Daniel
he shared with his dog, a little square of flannel

Along came a mosquito with a straw-like mouth
and crawled into the bottle with an empty spout
The hobo drunk on ***** in a stupor from the sauce
shut the insect in then hollered " so now whos boss !"
the dog did bark but heh, he wasn't in the land of Oz

so on his knees the hobo went and soon began to pray
"I didn't have to ****** him so why did I, oh why oh why "
and then the echo came from the empty tunnel's way
"Don't cry my child after all it was just a fly !"
confessed and reassured the hobo slept  until the light of day.
