contentment, for some, is the most illusive condition ever

birth and death are the same point on the circle of life, some circles are bigger than others, some are more colorful, some are jagged some smooth, fill the center with the color of love and gratitude

this poem was so much better over on the 502 error side of the universe

one.....alone
estranged in mind
two gave one another
three arrived unbalanced
one afraid of alone
conspired with two
and left three belittled

age and time
thieves in the night
cannot steal your beauty
locked in my mind

live a life that would make a great movie, one that makes happy tears, it will be your only rerun in the end

my boss gave me a big compliment today, he said that i could withstand a huge amount of abuse

it isn't my fault that i get blamed for everything

begins with
a new book smell
chrisp clean paper
with sharp edges
but soon enough
a few dog ears form
some for good
some bad
and a crease or two
a doodle in the margin
of a first love
pictures
of travels far
first cars
birthday cakes
and love mistakes
pages turn
much easier now
yellowing cracked
and faded
binding weak
the story unfinished

the fuel of my heart is the simple touch of your hand and the mileage i get from a hug is amazing

The alarm clock and the wall clock and the watch all attempt to tell me what time it is...but it is always NOW

a new approach
for the thousandth time
no more mister nice guy
i tell myself with confidence
and then my love of people
washes over the emotions
and my goofy self returns
like an old familiar friend

I will have
  no worries
    no pains
      no mistrusts
        no anxieties
          no problems
        the day after
      I die

God is the world's radio station, Jesus is the deejay, and the Holy Spirit is the frequency, tune in and be blessed

you never see it coming when those feelings lock on and hit your heart like a love missile and blast the pain away, at least for a little while

the future is the fog of chaos crashing into us at the speed of life and fading into the blurry past

a bus ticket is cheap
a train ticket probably more
a flight can cost a heap
but at the end of the ride
the ticket "home" is free
either going down or up-side

unloved and ridiculed you must have a huge store of hate arrows in your quiver, aim them at me if it will ease your load, and we can hope you run out of ammo

you can see new ideas so much better if you stand in front of your ego

empathy is root on the tree of love, and it's fruit unconditional

i give her way more love than she wants from me, so, i wonder where she puts all the love garbage

Expectations are previews of events that rarely happen...Hope leaves room for improvement

The most important part of giving is to expect nothing in return and sometimes the hardest part

Fill your new thoughts with Love, Acceptance, and Compassion...vibrate higher and make these contagious

We need to spend way more time in "we" than in "me"

Those days that seem to last forever are a blessing, from a conservation of time perspective

love is such a cursed road, if only a one way street

Thinking out loud....People often advise "just don't care what other people think". In my opinion, this is self-centered advice. Looking at yourself from the outside is healthy and advised, knowing what GOOD and LOVING people think of you is a mirror of your soul. However, do not JUDGE yourself only on other's perceptions. Vibrate higher.

People go to university to learn from a professor, if people truly learn from other's mistakes, I'm a professor
