From the moment you hugged me, id never be the same. I felt compassion from a beautiful angel to me. Something ive never felt, its love. Everyday since that night, you are always in my thoughts. You showed me love, it changed me. You taught me how to love myself. Then i had to leave, it changed nothing but increased the love capacity i have for you. It began one night when you asked could you hug me. I said yes gratefully. At that moment a hug melted my heart. I fell for you because of your act of kindness and heart of gold. I never wanted to leave you from that moment.

I had to leave two weeks later. Would our love grow or would it fold? At that moment i didnt know. But everyday we stayed in touch my heart grew leaps and bounds. Every walk at night my hand in yours, as we watch the sun fading you miles away but still beside me.

Later a visit back to Wisconsin, finding my lover because there will never be another. I enjoyed every moment everyday, i had with you. From visiting your home town to eating chocolate covered strawberries. I wanted you to say, "stay". I wouldve never your side forever.

I had to leave, it was quite the time, for forever. Our love has grown even more since those days. Even when i found out, i may have cancer. The first time was only a scare. The second time, it felt like id never. But love wins it over everytime. I know i will be well soon. My heart is like a balloon lifting me higher, to my lover.

As days go by i recover, ill soon be with my lover. I know we are made for each other. We will never be apart foreverly, its been written in my heart.

We find joy in small things but often grander things in this life. One day we find love it explains so much of who we are.
