Life is like ocean waves lapping on the beach. Humanity is the ocean, waves are you and I. This is the flow and ebb of life. We are born and then we die. Often there are storms in the interim, hurricanes, even a tsunami. Each wave brings upon the shores seaweeds of sorrow, starfish of hope. Castles of dreams we build. Some we realize, others are washed away. The blue sky may turn dark at times, but always does the yellow sun exist, even if at times we cannot see it. At night, the moon casts its spell upon glistening waves making their inexorable way to shores around the world. Soon night will become day as new waves roll in.

Life is as predictable as a pair of dice. At times not so nice, at others, glorious. The notorious mix of dreamy-eyed moments with dreadful surprises, not knowing how or when. We are at the mercy of the winds of vissicissitudes. Our attitudes, our presuppositions are tenuous at best. At one instant, your head will be resting on my pillow, at another, on a hospital pillow because you are dying of ovarian cancer. Uncertainty is our highway;  there are many detours ahead. Kiss when you know it is possible, hug when you know the same. Love, in any given situation, is always the antidote. Memories are but for the future, so live now, always with your heart.

Jeff Bezos. a really nice guy, so I hear. He is worth $190,000,000,000.

Do you think he might be willing to give some of his money to the millions and millions of children on Earth who are starving to death right now?

Do you think he might be willing to give some of his money to the 2 1/2 billion fellow human beings who are poor, or extremely poor, on Earth right now, and therefore are suffering unimaginably from the utter lack of myriad necessities of living--including, but not limited to--adequate housing, sufficient medical care, excellent education, and like their children, food enough to stay alive for another day?

Bezos has friends, over 2,000 other billionaires on Earth, 660 of whom live in America.

Bezos has megabillions, but does he have a heart?

KISS ME FOREVER

Life is short. I am old.
With whom will I have to share
the days remaining? I am now alone.
I wish for a friend, a woman
who will join me step by step
as we approach
our inexorable destination.
What will it be like,
I writing poems,
she still a beauty,
but not the beauty she was
Will we dance together?
No, I have been a ******* for 20 years.
Will we laugh together? I know so.
Will I hold her in my arms
as she goes to sleep?
I will hold her in my arms for eternity.
Whose eyes will be the first to close forever?
I hope it will be mine,
for to be without her
would mean I would lose my heart forever,
even as I breathed.
Hold my hand in yours.
Kiss me, my dear. Kiss me forever.

All are Messiahs. Our lives are but chapters in a never-ending book. The Cosmos is infinite. Why the seeming finite? The answer:  Know truth by untruth. The amoeba and Aristotle--and everything in between--are sacred. The paradox is paradoxically the truth. Earth is one of an infinite numbers of petri dishes, as it were, in infinite Cosmos that are helping us realize we are one. Wars, killings, all other forms of unkindness, and worse, are repugnant;  but we--all creations on Earth--have lived through these horrid experiences from time immemorial. but still have not learned--yet alone embraced--their truth, that LOVE is the ethos of infinite Cosmos. This is our journey. Death is not THE END, just the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, until we have finally read the whole BOOK OF LOVE.

The only way for Earth to survive is for all Citizens of Earth to realize they are one family, that they must collectively take a quantum leap in the history of mankind and eliminate false notions that they are separate, one from the other, that their national and ethnic pride is ultimately divisive, and if clung to in error, will inevitably end in the destruction of Earth.

If, however, they have an epiphany and thus realize their many diferences are not reasons to wage war, but just the contrary:  They are the very reasons to celebrate, to appreciate those many surface differences that will only enhance their quality of life, and, most importantly, will avoid their deaths and the destruction of their home, Earth.

I don't sleep much. I touch
the morning sky, then sigh
on my pillow. The willow tree
sees me and bids me good morn.
Soon the sun will light the sky
and I shall rise to meet the day.
"Say, would you like to share
your day with me?" I ask. She
is my love, my life. She is my
wife and has my heart. I give
her first a hug, then a kiss. I
do not miss the chance to excite
myself with her beauty, a gift
from every time my eyes rest
on her pulchritude. My attitude
is this:  I am blessed to have
her. I am a lucky man, you
understand? We make love as
the sky turns light blue, soothes
our souls, but satifies our lust
for one another, a must for those
in love in the morning hours,
and then forevermore.
