War is done
Phil Charters Apr 2019
Rise
sweet flower, rainbow petals
receive light from a
brand new age,
pure air human,
filth is gone
Stand tall, tree, see meadows
grazing cattle, freely suckling young,
terrorful age is over.
Birds, troop colours,
happily sing,
usurper man, tamed
mother has won
war is done.

What We Owe To love
Phil Charters Apr 2019
Mother Earth
rolls her cool dark hemisphere into the light
awakening life to
the warmth of day
Lovers walk the road of life
pause where trees
filter and split sun rays
into elysian light
embrace
in a lovers moment
and kiss the world
outside of their love
into oblivion
Peace lasts forever
No war, no hate, no prejudice
just pure bliss
Mother Earth rolls her hemisphere again into cool darkness
lovers consummate their love
as if for the first time
always
and sleep peaceful happiness Earth owes the warming sunlight for her life
Lovers owe the warmth within their heart
for the serenity of life
and the world of experience,
that illuminates
their love.
Love and Peace to all.

Towards The Waxing Moon
Phil Charters Apr 2019
I release you now, from your incorporeal cell.
Take your politics, your reason, I have no need for bagatelle And walk unfettered through the unlatched gate
I wish no more, you to incarcerate.
Regret, do I that we were foe,
In the twilight of our existence, It should not be so.
Forgive me?
I forgive you
Now hurry, go.
Take the path towards the waxing moon. Fear not to hurry, to be there soon
for I have cleared the debris of a ruinous past Race
Creed
Ideology
You shall not trip now, on false theology.
Calm is the light of a waxing moon Where a lover will, his loved one swoon. And steadiness comes to a raging bull
In the softest light when the moon is full.
But the orb that traverses the sky by day colours the world in so many a way
that the path we take, leads to many a view- I categorized you.
Imprisoned, I did, an idea Closed my mind, I fear to another point of view.
So walk in the light of a waxing moon
where there is no false or indeed, no true:
just a peaceful world where shadows are dancing with you.Moon waxes to wane
peace, tranquillity remain.
Beautiful thought, beautiful world, released I have, not you, but me
I am free.

Guns
Phil Charters Apr 2019
blood is upon a nations heart
when freedom allows killing machines
to visit life destruction upon peaceful prayers
upon innocence of
learning
upon street dwellers or music
patrons
democracy declares no external
enemy
but seeks election to power
through
divergence of culture in Earths
citizens
leaders inspire hatred when speaking differences
putting guns in mentally fragile
hands
citizen at war with
citizen
guns reap
death
thoughts and prayers sustaining
power.

For I Was Always Nothing
Phil Charters Apr 2019
Dearest family,
feel no discomfort at my demise
write no epitaph for my grave
scratch my name
on no remembrance page
grieve not for me
for I was always nothing.

Ensconced in my
warm comfort lounge
I have followed footsteps
of people, brave
scaling heights, no human should endure
weep no tears for me
for I was always nothing.

Never a general,
have I been nor lowly rank and file
marching ruin over peoples lives
branding them enemy
bombing enemies innocents, not me
do not cry for me
for I was always nothing.

Hard, I have toiled
for business men,
who saw no worth in me
honest and true,
a life long economic fool,
do not pray for me
for I was always nothing.

Loved for my life
loved all my life
my wife, my family, remember me
I belong only to you
for you all, have made me something
forget me world
for I was always nothing.

Human Dilemma
Where mountains fall upon their knees,
and bow, do trees, so low;
meander rivers, shyly by,
where birds no longer fly;
nor whistle in the treetops, sing in dawn's own light;
all of nature cowers,
beneath this evil might.
Perhaps to nature's beauty, my ears, are now tone deaf;
and horror in my eyes resides,
to all else, am I blind.
And oh, my thoughts, so vivid once,
flee now from my mind:
left of spirit, there is, but none,
my being now is numb.
Shall I wither, within my own despair,
Or rise ye mountains, shout;
stand ye trees, tall be proud;
oh, rivers rage in flood?
Whistle birds in treetops, sing upon the dawn;
Remain shall I forlorn?
Or shall I stand in natures house,
and spill for her my blood.
The whole of the world
cries sad  tears
tonight,
and Earth is covered in
flames,
There"s a hole in the sky, shining  fear
in people's
eyes,
for heaven has no
vacancies.
heaven has no vacancies.

Wounded are lying, where
the sick are in
flames.
while children are educating
brains
but they stare with lifeless eyes,
through that big hole in the
sky,
for heaven has no vacancies
heaven has no vacancies.

The boot of genocide, has
now changed its
foot, aligned
on the leg of democracy
to the ancestors
shame,
it's the victims we
blame
so heaven has no
vacancies,
heaven has no vacancies.

Victims, they stand, with
their terrorist and
stare,
through that big hole in
the sky,
and a sign  it arrows down
to the fires of
hell,
still, heaven has no
vacancies
Hell has  vacancies.
