I couldn’t be who I am if it wasn’t for you
And yet I still question your intentions
I’d give you my sight to see if you were blind
My being if you were losing yourself, lost your motivation in search for real religion
I find myself at times holding onto this rope you’ve threaded for me
You are the reason my skies are blue so I bow down and kiss your feet
Discover the answer to why we feel we must fall in love
And not be entangled by societal norms of selfishness; finding treasure and keeping it for ourselves
I store it away in hopes of never losing you
Grasp heaven by the reigns and demand we never get sick, weary, or die just disappear into the ocean blue
They say I must contain myself but I refuse to simplify these feelings
Instead I remain cursed at your side marveled by your beauty
Clasp our bodies together our movements lift us in prayer
Sway in uniscience with the fire and chant the songs of the earth
The love I have for you is sinful yet I wake up every day and thank God
Because you are a reminder of how great his craft is, how unflawed
I draw myself in and out of time when I become overwhelmed in your atmosphere
The pressure rains down on my soul mocking the strength I claimed
Can true love be real if you are unaware of its presence?
Unaware of what it went through, the countless meetings up in heaven
