Drunk on His blood
Kali ran across the cosmos
Killing all evil in her path.
Only utter Death & Destruction calmed her down.

Durga, the invincible
I am as Beautiful
As I am Deadly

I am the unfathomable one,
destroying ignorance with a sacrifice
of human life
The power of realization and
destroyer of illusion.

Durga is known as
‘Beyond Reach’
She is another aspect
Of the consort of Shiva
She rides upon the Lion of Courage

We are the one (1) in the middle, between two pillars.
The pillars are Life and Death.
These outer pillars are the opposite doorways - always
on either side of us.
Each doorway is its own portal.
Portals to new dimensions.
Angelic realms and places of higher consciousness.
The Eternal Flame Within.

Trim back the parts of me protruding
unwantingly in everyone’s face

Sever from me the dead branches that no longer
serve except to scrape my fellows’ sensitivity

Pluck off these withered and unrecognizable
leaves that pitifully and desperately
held on throughout Winter              

Uproot these weeds of deeply burrowed
manipulations and please pour a gallon
of **** killer on my roots

Smash the restless tendencies of ants,
ever planning and controlling; cave in
their castle of lies

Did you notice that black widow spider
patiently waiting to poison all that is dear
in my life?

While at it, might as well neatly scoop up
the rocks and pebbles of thoughts and
reason that have scattered across the drive way
and put them back into proper context.

Empty, shallow hollow people
No inquiry into imagination
Not seeing the beauty of where they are
Limited
Bound by the body
Desire, fear, anger
Utter discomfort
Death-defying despair
Take what is given you and learn its value.

Dwell in the Eternal process of Battles
To struggle to remain free
And to avoid dissolving
Into the terrible chaos of ignorance and fear
