"What is a poem"

Poems are just whispers in the wind if there is no one to listen to them...
A poem without a reader is like a night without stars...
Like a full moon when no one is looking at her...
A poem is like a galaxy to be discovered...
by a reader who will treasure it in their heart...

"What is poetry"

...poetry comes from the soul
the soul knows no boundaries...
it transcends time and space...
light and darkness...
poetry only exists in the eyes of the reader...
or the senses or the listener...
and the heart of the writer....

If I could build  a time machine...
I  would jump back 20 years and look for your eyes...
I know I would recognize those eyes in any dimension...
Those eyes are timeless...
Deep and eternal...
If I had met you 20 years ago...
I would have asked right away if you wanted to start a life with me...
I can't say what you would have answered...
But I would have asked anyways...
If I had met you 20 years ago...
I would be perhaps calling you my love today...
Instead, today I just call you by your name...
But it does not matter...
I was still blessed to meet you...
The memory  of your beautiful eyes and the candor of your smile will keep me happy and company for as long as I live...
Even if life takes us on different paths...
I pray for your happiness...
And I am sure you will find it...
For you deserve it...

Someday you may not  be around to listen to my poems or read them...
I will still write them...and will read them by moonlight..
Hoping you are looking at the moon wherever you are...
So perhaps the moonlight and the wind will get the poems to you...
So if the wind embraces you on a moon lit night...
And all the birds stop singing...
The stars stop blinking for a moment...
The clouds stop moving...
And The whole landscape is  dominated by the wind noise...
Then perhaps a poem will be reaching you...
Friendship has no boundaries...
Like my admiration, respect  and happiness wishes for you...

And you finally succeeded...
You got me out of your life...
Just to think that a while ago...
A day wouldn't be a day if I didn't see you...
Nowadays a day is not a day if I see you...
That is how much things have changed...
I used to say I wanted to get lost in your eyes...
Now I want to get lost from your eyes...
I have to say congrats to both of us...
You got your way...
And I got my sanity and freedom back...

I have two hands...
But perhaps I will never get to touch you again...
And two eyes...
But I am sure I will never see you again...
My two lips will never kiss yours anymore...
My two arms will never get to hold you again...
My only hope is for my two ears to hear your voice again one day...
Even if just for two seconds...
Lots of twos...
I had just one dream...
Which was to make you happy...
For I wanted the two of us to become one...
But I failed you...
You are my only true love...
And The only woman I could ever love...

I have no regrets...
I did my best to help you and to get a smile out of you...
And I did it from the bottom of my heart...
I can understand things didn't work between us...
But I can't fathom how cold you really are...
I guess I really didn't know you...
I always saw you as a diamond...
But like me, and like everyone else on the path of life...
You are just a stone, a pebble...
I made the mistake of idolizing you...
The more you idolize someone...
The more hurtful and painful it can get...
Still...
What I did for you...
Did it out of love...
And I  have no regrets...
And I wish you the best...

Windy or rainy...
Sunny or cloudy...
Even snowy...
I will always run by your side...
For life is an endless track...
Uphill and downhill...
But knowing we are running side by side  means there is no obstacle that can stop us...
For you are my beacon and my life..
