अगर उद्योगपतियों ईमानदारी दिखाते तो भारत चीन को पीछे छोड़ देता

अगर देश , मज़हब और जाती में नहीं बटा होता तो सबसे शक्तिशाली हम होते ।

अगर उत्तम शिक्षा गुरुकुल जैसी मिलती तो ज्ञान का अभाव यहां न होता ।

अगर ईमानदारी से हम रहते और रहने देते; तो भारत जैसा कोई देश कहां होता !!!

अगर संस्कार, ईमानदारी, देशभक्ति सीखते और उसका प्रयोग होता तो लाजवाब यह देश होता ।

क्यू न हम एकबार फिर यह प्रयोग करें, और अपने आपको शक्तिशाली बनाए ।

Our Brandy, our puppy, our lil imp, so very docile and innocent looks, at the first glance

But sneaks in she does very quietly into the washroom, whenever she gets a chance

Enjoying a shower, drinking water alongside; then to dry up, she does a shake (off) dance.

Our washroom is her territory,  her mansion, her resort; if around n someone is in, she loudly does bark.

Into it, she quickly glides, rather darts, even pushing us in the bargain; just like a little ferocious shark

Equally possessive she is about her bed; running behind kids, when they try to make it; once it's dark

कुदरत की विशालता

सोचने लगी मै देख के यह विशाल गगन;
और देख के चन्द्र को, मै तो बस हो गई मगन ।
अंतर कितना है चन्द्र की शीतल चांदनी में, और कहां सूरज की अगन !
क्या देखी है आप ने, समुद्र में समाने कि नदी की लगन?

आदमी कितनी बिजली इस्तमाल करता है, तब ठंडा या गरम होता है एक मकान
कुदरत यह करती है यह मुफ़्त में, वोह भी एक पल भर में, लाके तूफ़ान।
पौधों को पानी पल भर में देती हैं बारिश; जो बड़ी मुश्किल से दे पाता है किसान।
कुदरत की ताकत से रहो वाकिफ बनो न यू अनजान ।

DO YOU AGREE???

Every thought of ours, a definite vibration creates

Atmosphere and God this vibration then rates.

Good ones uplift n the negative ones, Nature berates.

It is indeed these vibrations that changes our fates

Therefore it's in hands ours, to  ourselves correct.

Unnecessary n negative thoughts; our atmosphere infect.

The positive balance, start let us to enhance n  *****;

Let us our self- teaching do ; so that we ourselves resurrect

Peaceful, happy, n helpful should be our thoughts; there's no why !

Ignore the negative thoughts, simply let them pass by.

चाहा था उसने,  जीवन में उसके असंख्य फूल खिले;

कौन आखिर चाहता है, खुदको पत्थर और कांटे मिले !

उसने मांगी थी अपनो से छोटी छोटी, थोड़ी खुशी ;

बदले में मिली उसे, सिर्फ बेरुखी और ख़ामोशी ।

कोमल दिल उसका चाहता था बेशुमार प्यार;

उसे न पता था, इस दुनिया में, चलता है सिर्फ व्यापार ।

टूट गया वो नाज़ुक दिल, जब मिली न प्यार की मंज़िल ।

कहां पता था उस, यह कलयुग है, यहां होते हैं पत्थर जैसे दिल;

तोड़ के औरोंके के दिल, और जज्बात लोग बसाते है खुद के लिए महफ़िल

कलयुग में शायद ऐसे ही मिलती है उन्हें, अपनी मंज़िल ।

Our environment, our Earth and its species many are in severe danger;

Let's not behave in a manner callous, as if we are aliens or strangers

Or our progeny forgive us never will; if we with Nature our ties ruthlessly sever

Right away, let's take steps, at least a few  little ones, to restore Nature; and it rever.

In our balconies, however tiny, a few plants grow; n a bowl of water there put

Young school n college students, plant should  seeds, or saplings with small roots

Let's call our many feathered friends, our birds, squirrels and other friends back

Let our efforts, willingness n fruitfullness show, let it in no way lack.

When did I last laughed heartily ?
I don't really remember, he thought to himself.

It's been a while, "I must make an attempt to do so".

So out he went, to find a reason to laugh at.

Searched he ardently, but he felt sad n  like crying;

Saw he trouble, poverty, helplessness, all around.

Came back he, thinking, what is the purpose of life ?

But even after contemplation, found he, no answer.

Now bothered he wasn't to laugh; he wanted to, this reason seek.

So again he went; saw he pain n suffering again .

Said he, "God, I know you won't share Your secrets;  but please keep me sane".

ऐ इंसान, जरा सोच तू.....

आज यहां कोलकाता में बहुत शोरगुल है, ट्रैफ़िक रुकी पड़ी है;

लोगों को मानो घर कैद हो गई है, असुविधा बहुत बढ़ी है

देश का वक़्त, और अपना, हर एक का वक़्त, बर्बाद  हो रहा है

यह तकलीफ, यह मजबूरी बिचारा आम आदमी चुपचाप सह रहा है

एक मेहनती आम इंसान को, जीवन भर बहुत सहना पड़ता है

उसे अपने ही देश में, क्यूँ इस कदर बेबसी में रहना पड़ता है ?

कोई तो बताये, इन हवाओ में प्रेम की खुशबु कब लहराएगी ?

माँ, तू कब, अखिर कब, सुकून और शांति इस धरा पर फैलाएगी ?

દુઃખ તો ઘણી વખત બહુ થાય,
પણ માનવ કોણ ને કહેવા જાય
બિચારા થી ન બોલાય, ન તો સેવાય.

આંખો ની ભાષા વાંચી શકે નહિ હર કોઈ.
દિલ નું દર્દ સમજી ન શકે હર કોઈ.
તું તો બોલવા પહેલા જાણી લેતી, દિલ માં જે હોય.

શા કારણે તું છોડતો નથી પીછો મારો; કહી જા આવી કાનો માં.

વસે છે દિલમાં, અંત્કરણ માં, મારી કવિતાઓ અને ગીતોમાં.

બોલાવી તને હું થાકી; ગઈ છું હારી; બોલાવ્યો તને પળે પળે.

ઓ બેપરવાહ, તને શું; જીવ તો છે મારો; ભલે એ બળે તો બળે

તને ક્યાં છે પરવાહ, સાંભલવા મારી યાચના; મીરાં મરે તો મરે.

પ્રીતમાં અહંકાર ના હોય, પણ સ્વાભિમાન તો હોય ને; પડીશ નહિ તારે ગળે.

ઓ બેપરવાહ, ઓ બેખબર, તું મારો પ્રેમ કદી તો આંક;

આં એક તરફી પ્રેમ હોય છે કાતિલાના, આમાં તારો નથી કોઈ વાંક.

પણ તને પ્રેમ કરવામાં, દિલ ઓ દિમાગ ખોઈ બેસવાનો, મારો શું વાંક?

SATISFACTION

People ask You for posh homes, cars, luxuries so very many.

Interested they are in huge amounts of dollars, pounds not pennies.

I always thought,  I was not demanding; and a very satisfied soul;

And because of limited needs, life would therefore very easily roll.

Because a satisfied soul, ask You wouldn't, for many things more.

But here I was, requesting tiny things, n increasing was the score.

Love n warmth I seeked ; greenery I wished, all around, everywhere.

As dear ones departed, wondered I, gone away they had where ?

Consequently solace to bear the pain; n peace I seeked.

Health now deteriorated , doctors at my organs, often peeked;

So seeked I from You, happiness and good health.

To be able to pay for Medical insurance, asked I for some wealth.

My requests slowly and steadily increasing are; they are going too far !

Asking myself I am now; with the other demanding ones,  am I at par ?

Lord, grant me good health, happiness and peace.

And, may my frustrations, worries, fears all cease.

DISILLUSIONED

Happy he was, when totally ignorant about this fact he was.

Realized he did not; trusted he blindly people because.

When love n trust we, our near ones, we our eyes easily close.

When truth strikes, frustrating n bitter is the blow;

Things turn topsy turvy; suddenly turbulent is the flow.

Overcome one does; n wobbles back, though in a motion slow.

Life thereafter same does not ever remain.

Changes it drastically; smile does one, hiding his pain.

Feels one he is living a life artificial; in a way, insane.

Well, life tough is n very often complicated too.

Live one has to, with a smile when actually he does rue.

From him we must all learn to life face, inspite of disillusionment too.

હે કાન્હા, પ્રેમી ઓ ના મન હૃદય માં જરા ઝાંક;

આં છે એક જાત ની, મહા- મોટી - માંદગી.

HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY TO OUR GEN NEXT

Little children often put teachers, parents, Grandparents to test ;

They can become embarrassing; and can often behave like pest (s)

With questions weird or funny n many, they can you infest;

And normally its them, these lil ones, who outright win the contest.

To be their close friend, and teach them tenderly, is the way best;

Sometimes firm be, and at other times with them play, work n jest.

Lovingly if explain we things to them, then life for both, is a fest.

If convinced they are, n faith in us they have, then values good they will ingest.

So we in our children n grandchildren quality time must invest;

That, will be for them, a way wise, practical, fruitful and best.

ફૂલ, ફળ, અનાજ ભરપુર ઊગે આં ધરા ઉપર, એવા આશિષ આપજે તું.

An  ASHEM,  first thing in the morning, an ASHEM at night

An ASHEM in the scary dark, or an ASHEM in full light.

Dawn or dusk, an ASHEM is a must to help us feel  bright ;

Especially if for some reason, we have had a fight.

Helps us it also, to comfy feel, if you under are tension or fright.

An ASHEM before and after every meal is right.

On hearing about a demise, an ASHEM helps him in his plight.

Our prayers beginning with ASHEM, help us reach a great height.

An ASHEM pray all the time,  anytime, day or night.

पिया चलो, आज तुम संग, हम रास रचाए;

बचपन के दिन याद करके मुस्कुराए और
गाए ।

मोरे आंगन में आज फुल न जाने कहां से मुस्कुराए

बहार आई पतज़ड़ के दिनों में, क्यों की, पी घर आए ।

दिल में जो हो उमंग, तो पतज़ड बहार बन जाए ।

WHY

We all know this, that souls come n souls go; come they alone n also go alone

And we the living,  even after knowing all this; their departure grieve n mourn.

Mourn perhaps that we never can see them again,  nor speak to them on phone.

Inspite of our knowledge n all this information, why oh why can't we this fact accept !

Why do we then let this sorrow into our lives seep; can we not some anaesthetic inject ?

Our mind knows it all,  yet our heart accepts it not; can someone explain this difficult concept.

Each time, traveled we on return tickets, this time decided you, to travel alone, one way;

To some destination unknown, you wanted to travel alone and there stay.

I had been to Air India, where I had to submit your certificate; it was a painful day

Every one remembered and missed you; n I couldn't keep my tears at bay

Know we all, life temporary is n destroyed is this body of clay;

Why then is it so very difficult to accept this fact that someday, to rest we all lay.

Your journey on your one-way ticket complete is, whilst I, my turn await, waiting for that day.

Difficult times, a lot of important lessons teach us

The true character of people, we come to know thus.

These difficult times are terrifying, almost like a curse

Most difficult n taxing they are, on our wallet or purse

The hospitals n doctors openly man-handle us ;

Emotionally too we are crushed; its indeed a curse.

Lucky we were to have a few, kind n considerate docs n nurse.

Relatives n friends true who are, life then teaches us.

Sweet talks and advise give many, free of cost to us;

But few ready are to actually pitch in n alongside work with us.

Very many things, during these difficulties, life teaches us.

Most importantly, help us these difficulties, whom to trust

HAPPY BE

Happy become,  search for reasons small;

Make someone smile,  help one or some friend, call.

Support or lift someone who has just had a fall.

Happiness comes to us, when happy others we make

For an elder or a child,  a cake you can  bake

Or if very busy,  you may buy them a cup cake

Reasons there are plenty,  open your eyes please.

Growing a plant or tree, will ensure shade n breeze

A song or two sing;  your's n others tension it will release.

Search for reasons,  be happy  n make others  happy .

મારું ખાંડનું પોટલું

નાજુક એ એટલી, કે જાને હોય ઇંડાનું કોટલું;

ખાત્તી બટ તો એટલી કે જાને હોય કેરી નું ગોટલું

ખેંચી આવે એકદમ ચૂપચાપ થઈને, કોઈનું ચોટલું.

પણ છે એ મીઠ્ઠી મધુરી, ખાંડ નું એક મોટું પોટલું.

જ્યારે ગુસ્સો આવે ત્યારે લાગે એકદમ કડવું કારેલુ.

અથવા તો આતશ જેમ તપે એ, માનો લાકડું હોય બારેલું.

પણ મધ કરતાં એ મીઠ્ઠી હશે, એવું નહિ મે ધારેલું.

જીવ જાન અમારો, વસે એનામાં, છે મે પોટલાનેં દિલમાં મારા ઉતારેલું.

શા કારણે

નાજુક હ્રદય માં મારા, ભોંકાય છે આજે શૂળ.
મુરઝાઇ રહ્યું છે મારા હ્રદય નું કોમળ ફુલ.
હે ભગવાન, એવી તે શું થઈ મારી ભૂલ ?

શાખ થી છૂટું પડી રહ્યું છે નાજુક ગુલ.
મન હવે થતું નથી, આનંદિત કે પ્રફુલ.
આં વિશાળ વડના, હિલી રહ્યા છે મૂળ.

ચહેક્તા નથી બાગમાં હવે, કોયલ, ગુલ અને બુલબુલ.
ઘટી રહ્યા છે બાગમાં ફુલ, અને વધી રહ્યા છે કંટક અને શૂળ
શા કારણે, બદલાઈ રહી છે, આટલી તેજીથી આં દુનિયા સ્થૂળ ?

વાંચી ને વિચારજો

વર્ષો પહેલાં નો છે આં, આઝાદી પૂર્વે નો એક કિસ્સો.

ચાલતી હતી  આઝાદીની ચળવળ હતો લોકોમાં ઘણો જુસ્સો.

અંગ્રેજો તરફ હતો ભારતવાસીઓ ને બેહિસાબ ગુસ્સો.

એક નવપરિણીત જોડું કરતું હતું જાસૂસી નું કામ.

એટલામાં વર પકડાઈ ગયો; થયું નામ એનું બદનામ

બહુ ભયાનક આવવાનો હતો એ બિચારાં નો અંજામ.

નવોઢાની એક તરફ હતો એનો જુવાન પતિ બીજી બાજુ હતો દેશ

પોતે જવાની માં વિધવા થવું કે સ્વતંત્ર બનાવવો દેશને !!

યાદ કર્યું એને રાજપૂતો નો મહાન ત્યાગ પોતાના દેશ માટે.

એ વીરાંગનાએ પતિને કહ્યું પ્રેમથી, આપણે કરીએ કાઈક નવું.

આપણે, માતાને બચાવવા, કેસરિયા, જોહર કરી કુરબાન થઈ જવું.

"હસતાં હસતાં આપીયે કુરબાની બંન્ને, તમને આપશે ફાંસી, પછી મારે ઝેર પી સૂઈ જવું."

અનેક કુબનીઓ આપ્યા પછી મળી છે આં આઝાદી

તો હવે કેમ થઈ રહી છે ચારો તરફ મારામારી ને બરબાદી ??

ચાલો સંપીને બનાવીએ નવું ભારત, તો જ આવશે ખરી આબાદી.

સબક્તા પગલે, નાવરોઝ આવ્યો , સાથે ખુશાલી લાવ્યો.

મારી આ ખુશાલી જતાવવા રચું હું, સુંદર નવા કાવ્યો.

પારસીઓ નો સુર્ય, ખોર્શેદ ય ઝ દ ફરી એકવાર ચમકતો ઊગે

ફરી ઓ ખુદા તું અમને રાહ દેખાડ; આં મારી અરજ તુને પુગે.

અમારી જનસંખ્યા ફૂલે ફળે, વરૃદ્ધી થાય આખા સમાજની.

ઈચ્છું છું હું,  કરે તું કબુલ મારા ખરા દિલ થી માંગેલી દુઆ આજની .

બધાં સંપીને રહે, કોમની ખૂબ પ્રગતિ થાય, અનેક મીઠા બળુદાઓ બક્ષજે અમને .

આં કલ્પના મારી, કોમળ અને સુંદર છે, કબૂલ જરૂર કરજે તું એને.

આં નવું વર્ષ, ય ઝ ૧૩૮૯ હર એક રીતે મુબારક થાય આપણને.

IMPRISONED

In the beautiful blue skies I used to independently fly;

For me to travel all around; limitless was the sky.

Then suddenly, into a cage I was put in, by a wicked man.

You humans, this dastardly act, must immediately ban.

To make money quick, he clipped off my beautiful wings

Then proudly showed me around n says hear how she sings.

Oh man, I ask you, how would feel you, if put in a jail

I am sure you would put up a fight or painfully cry and wail.

Imprison us do not, just for a quick buck; instead us protect.

Trees are our homes, do not them chop; keep them intact.

Let us with joy soar in the open skies n on trees nest.

Our creator has made us for the skies, n He undoubtedly is the best.

The very first glance n lost I was in those pools deep


Slowly but certainly into them, losing my total identity, I did seep


Under my skin, in every *****, unknowingly though; you quietly did creep


From that day, lost I have, my slumber sweet, I now can't sleep.

Just a glance of you, stimulates my heartbeats; the monitor wildly does beep


Totally lost I am today, ah ! what magic is this ! my identity I can no longer keep


Falling in love is a very dangerous thing; you lose everything; there's nothing to reap


Empty are your hands, heart n mind; only with pearl like tears, your eyes weep.

THE WORLD OF MY DREAMS

Where weapons deadly, wouldn't exist,

Wish wicked men could their greed resist.

Crime, commit no one here would ever;

Relations sever people would
never.

Jealousy, hatred, anger etc would be wiped off.

No one at another, would laugh or  scoff.

Here exist peace, serenity, prosperity would.

Love, care, kindness easily give people would.

Meals sufficient everyone would be able to cook;

Everything so cool n beautiful would look;

Lush green fruit and flower Laden  trees ;

Also, crystal clear ponds, lakes and seas.

Our Earth, so green, clean and serene would be;

This world of my dreams, O Ahura, grant unto me.

મહેકતા ફૂલોની તોરણ ઝૂલે યશોદાના બારણે

નાનાં નંદલાલા, નીંદરમાં મસ્ત થઈ, ઝૂલે પારણે .

ગોપ ગોપીઓ જોવા આવે આં દૃશ્ય વિના કોઈ કારણે.

આજે ફેલાયો છે યશોદા અને નંદના ઘરે આનંદ મંગળ.

ગોપ ગોપીઓ પ્રસન્નતાથી રચે છે ગામમાં રમતગમત ને દંગલ

આજે તો પ્રાણી પક્ષીઓના નાદથી ગૂંજી ઉઠ્યું છે જંગલ.

ખુશી મનાવે છે આખું ગોકુળ ગામ; પધાર્યા છે આજે અહીં તારણહાર

જમનાજી લેહરાય છે; ખુશીઓ ની તરંગ ફેલાઈ છે હવામાં આરપાર.

ચાલોરે સખીઓ વધાવવા કાનહાને; માનવીએ ખુશીઓથી આં તેહવાર.

खिला है चांद, पुर बहार, किए सोलह श्रंगार।
देख उसे, धड़कता दिल मेरा, करे यह पुकार;
"आजा प्रीतम, छाई है यहां बरखा बहार।"

रात आज लग रही है हसीन, बुंदोकी हो रही है फुहार।
खड़ी हूं मै, नैन बिछाए, किए सोलह श्रंगार
काश आज यह कातिल जुदाई की होजाए हार।

पिया- मिलन कि आश में, हो रही हूं बेकरार।
आयेंगे प्रीतम, करूंगी जी भरके प्यार

ધુમડાના પ્રડ્યુષણને બદલે લીલોતરી ઉઘાડિયે આં દિવાળી.

પિત્ઝા, પાસ્તા, બર્ગર છોડી આસ્લી માલ મીઠાઈઓ ખાઈએ આં દિવાળી.

જિન્સ ટોપસ છોડી, મસ્ત રંગીન  દેશી પોશાક પહેરીએ આં દિવાળી.

ચાલો એક ગરીબ બાળક અથવા કુરકુરિયું બચાવીએ આં દિવાળી.

ચાલો પ્રિયજનો, રંગ બે રંગી રંગોળી, સાથીયા પુરીયે, આં દિવાળી.

એક કાળી અંધારી રાતને રોશન કરીએ, આપનું ભવિષ્ય ઉજ્જવળ કરીએ આં દિવાળી.

કોઈક નાના બાળકને પાથી પેન કે પુસ્તક પેન્સિલ ભેટ આપીયે આં દિવાળી.
