नकाब

बच्चपनमे,सरकस में हमने देखा ही है, जोकरों को; लगाते है वो ढ़ेर सारे नकाब ।

और बच्चों को उनकी करामात प्रदशित कर के, उत्पन करते हैं उनमें अनगिनत ख्वाब ।

पर हमारे निजी जीवन में भी, हमारे असली चेहरे पर होते है, दो या तीन नकाब ।

असली चेहरा हमारा, हम छुपा के रखते है, पर दिख जाती है कभी कभार, हमारी असली झलक !

बाहरवाले देखते है हमारा नकाब, जो पहनके, उन्हे हम दिखाना चाहते है, एक जूठी झलक।

इंसान कितने भी चेहरे  मोहरे बदले; सच्चाई देख सकता है हमारा रब, क्योंकि विशाल है फलक।

लाख छुपाएं हम अपनी असलियत, वो तो देख ही लेता है, भांप ही लेता है हमारी असलियत।

पर्दा कितना भी कीमती और हसीन क्यों न हो, पर रबकी आंखे है तीक्ष्ण, देख लेती है हर किसी की असलियत ।

तो फिर हम इंसान, क्यों पहनते है यह नकाब? शायद दूसरों को पता नहीं चल सके हमारी असलियत ।

OUR LIFE, A RIVULET

Our life is like a rivulet; going through a constant change; dashing alone, through paths difficult n rough

Picking up many relationships on the way, some good, some bad, some mild, some angry n gruff

Needs a rivulet to turn into a  river; n then to reach her destination final, to the Sea  so mighty, really huge !

Rest she just cannot, it's a winding journey, meandering, but there is no going back, no refuge !

A bumpy jumpy childhood, followed by a carefree or stressful youth; then perhaps it flows smoothly for a while;

She sometimes gets a chance to happy be; to gracefully flow; and at life, satisfactorily smile

Then again as youth recedes,  relatives also part, into many factions at the delta, she is now broken !

These parts big and small, all into the mighty ocean submerge; it is now that a rivulet, that has turned into a river is, finally unified, in Heaven awoken.

અગ્નિ વર્ષા

માનવની મૂર્ખતાને લીધે, આગ વરસાવી રહ્યું છે ગગન

પોતાના સ્વાર્થ માટે, લોભ, લાલચ માટે, એને ઉજાડ્યું આ સોહામણું ચમન


મૂર્ખ માનવે જો સાચવી હતે લીલોતરી, તો એને આજે દઝાડતે નહીં, આં અગન

શા કાજ, આટલું સ્વાર્થી અને ચંચળ બનાવ્યું છે ઓ દાતા તેં, આં માનવ મન ?

પોતાનો ફાયદો થાય જ્યાં, ત્યાં માનવ ભૂલી જાય છે, ધરતીને સાચવવાનું, તને દીધેલું વચન

પણ ભગવંત, દાઝે છે ગરીબના પગો, એને તો આપજે થોડી ઠંડક, ભલે હોય એ ક્ષણ બે  ક્ષણ !

અમને આપજે સદ બુદ્ધિ, વાવીએ ઝાડો અસંખ્ય; કોઈ એક વાવે, તો કોઈ ડઝન બે ડઝન.

લીલી છમ ચુંન્ડી મારી ફાડીને ચિરી નાખી, જેના ઉપર હતા રંગ બે રંગી પુષ્પો અનેક

શણગારો મારા કાઢી નાખી, બોડી બામની જેવી કરી નાખી, કાપી નાખી બાહ મારી એકે એક

વેરણ છેરણ થઈ ગયું બધું, વિરાન કરી નાખ્યું જીવન હર્યું ભર્યું , સાંભળીયા નહીં મારા ચિત્કાર

હવે બચી છે કેવળ છબી પહેલાની, બનાવી હતી એને પ્રેમથી; હતો કોઈ મારો સાચો એ કલાકાર

આજે જ્યાં ઘિંચ વણ હતું, ત્યાં છે રેતીના રણ, ફળ, ફૂલ, પંખેરુંને પણ કરિયા માનવીએ બેઘર

એક નવોઢાને બનાવી દીધી માનવીઓએ મળીને, એક રસ હિન વિધવા, મારી ખંજર

H2O

Scientists call it H2O, we call it water, some even call it Adam's Ale

Nature us had given it in plenty n free; but today it's on sale

A sincere request I make,  a plea; waste water not; available it isn't in large scale

Everyone can prevent leaking taps; n surely run less water, without fail;

Care we must to collect discarded water from ROs, ACs, (to water plants) in a pail

Or reuse it, to wash vessels or swab floors; this of course is at a small scale.

Wash- machines a huge quantum use; this can be used, to flush a toilet tank;

Mandatory this should be made by GOI; or no loans to be given by any bank.

Between roads n footpaths, at the edges, grass can be grown; that makes it, a ground storage of rank!

Rain harvest today, an absolute necessity is; earlier, because of mud, water into the Earth sank;

Also it was water from lakes, ponds n rivers, that people then drank;

Now it is upto you to act, I have shared with you readers, my opinion n suggestions frank

A SPLENDID ETHEREAL SCENE

Into ecstacy went I, as I drew the curtains translucent, off a huge, transparent window like wall

It seemed, for a while, suddenly entered paradise I had, upon some mystical divine call

A shimmering white sea with chunks of ice was right there,  wherever my eyesight, did fall

This seemed ethereal, out of this world; where this red-orange, shining Sun, looked like a huge fire ball

Even now, as I lightly, gently shut my eyes, appears this majestic scene, and it, me absolutely enthrals !

Feel I, as if Ahura had rejuvenated me anew, n He, fresh, brand-new batteries within me, did install.

HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY

DELICATE YET STRONG

A WOMAN slim, frail, or delicate may be, but from within, she is very strong

A WOMAN also instinctively knows how to things rectify, if  they ever go wrong.

We here in India n, even in Persia, have goddesses; the list is indeed long!

These Goddesses n we women ordinary, from within are all concrete like, very strong

Being delicate n lady-like is weakness not; it's beautiful, there is really nothing wrong

Every WOMAN is from within very strong , on her path she constantly wins challenges most, all along

HAPPY HOLI

Colours let us borrow from our very own Mother Nature; rich and very many, plenty there are

To search them all, simply look around; one doesn't really have to go very far

All shades of sparkling blues, especially my azure blue, almost see one can, in the skies,

Dawns n dusks are best to see scintillating shades one can absorb if one tries

Nights have shades dark along with the silvery moon shimmering; and those twinkling stars

Sit on the terrace or on a balcony; absorb n assimilate this magic, as if sipping at a bar

Flowers, leaves, trees n branches, watch d shades varied with every breath; nature's beauty enjoy

Wish you all a very colourful Holi I do; but before this, let's burn negativity n make place for joy.

TOWELS

As they are colourful n of varied qualities; so is a human towel

In the lighter vein, my lil granddaughter loves to use me as a towel;

Coming out after a bath, she clings to me, using me as her towel.

Our mind, specially when young n tender, is a very good sponge, a towel

But the biggest n the best is our subconscious, it absorbs more than a towel

Parents, grands, teachers have to careful be, to feed water clean to every little towel

Our subconscious constantly absorbing keeps, so, my Ahura, make it a positive towel

This world a much better place will be, if good thoughts are printed on every towel

Everytime we have a fresh one, it is duty ours, to keep clean this towel

Dive deep down into those fathomless depths of the ocean I do, to find pearls, precious and rare

Believe me, it is worth taking this trouble, when successfully you can them find, with hands bare

Pray I, my Lord, to grace me, grant me these invaluable, most precious pearls, those beyond compare

O Ahura, when ready they are, scooped from their oysters, them with readers, I would like to share

Varied may they be, shiny, shimmering, lustrous, white, ivory, or pink, for each and every, I deeply care

My poems n quotes should create an impact deep n for a better change; like oxygen does to air.

May every reader digest/absorb at least a  pearls few, be it helping nature, earth, religion, or elder-care;

Be it fighting pollution, reusing plastics n water; or prepared we must be, to consequences dire bear.

ARE YOU ENJOYING YOUR RIDE???

On a train journey you are,  passing through different terrains

Through  Sunshine and shadows, through fog, mist or rains

Fields, jungles, bridges over rivers, n caves n tunnels in the mountains

Through jungles deep n dense, or through orchards or gardens with fountains

The train sometimes has to pass through  deserts dry n burning hot

In our lives too, face we circumstances varied n in difficulties get caught

Scared do not get, my little heart; with anxiety do not like a butterfly flutter

Or whilst challenges facing, with nervousness do not stutter;

Ruthless, selfish and indifferent this world is, n always shall be so

But till your journey lasts n that destination final comes, please don't feel low

Remember Anar, once you are on board the train, once begins your journey of life;

Constant stress and strain face you
will have to; learn Anar, to deal with strife.

TRY

New year resolutions, promises to self and others is indeed a very good thing ;

But if difficult this is n succeed we don't in our endeavour, just a smile to someone bring

Lord kind, encourage me to constantly better become;  let me consistently try

Human it is to err; but try let me to always improve; cry I may, but my tears I must dry

Learn I must to live by the day, rather by the moment; and for future no plans make

Promise myself I  must only for the day; any plans, resolutions somehow seem to be at stake

Instead of a new year resolution, let me just this day plan; for tomorrow I may not see !

Plan I do, to a seed plant; someone,  some day can eat the fruit from that tree

Help me please, Dear Lord, to live a day, at a time; that way, worry I will not about tomorrow

One thing certain seems, years or even many days from You, I wish not to borrow

Strength I have not, to walk a mile or go out n someone's tears wipe, in a grand style;

So my resolution is just for this day, no piles; just help me to make someone smile.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Oh just eighteen she was, when her heart had, on seeing him for the first time, a beat skipped !

Right from that moment, away from her physical self, it had for ever slipped

This Valentine's she was sure glad she would meet her childhood sweetheart;

After years so many; of their college reunion they would both once again be a part

Would he recognise her, when their eyes would meet; for his world must have drastically changed

Half a century had passed ! He must have been busy with his own family, she thought; have I deranged!

Because after they parted, her world to a standstill had come; she still dwelled in the past

That past which had closed all the gates forever, after met they had n kissed goodbye last

Her heart behaved rather erratically now; she was wondering when exactly did it return, when did it come back?

Peeping into the mirror, shocked she was to see herself! This couldn't be her ! She quickly realised, time does not freeze

She wanted to look good, not just good but her best; or he would once again, get a chance to her tease

At last came Valentine's day, her eyes constantly for him searched; then, once again, her heart skipped a beat!

That twinkle in his eyes, that same smile; she immediately knew, it was down right her defeat !

He held out a beautiful half opened rose n asked, "will you please be my Valentine, not just for today, always n forever"

Graciously she accepted n both of them simultaneously said, "it's been fifty years; but true relationships don't sever"

They soon married were; a radiant glow on her face revealed their love n happiness. Everyone said, it was the best reunion

He added, " it's not just a reunion ! after fifty long years, isn't this an ecstatic lovely fusion? "

ON THE SEAS

On a royal cruise, upon the Royal seas was crossing an entourage;

The Prince, his friends n cousins were going across the dark rough seas, with great courage,

A task force was on an important royal mission, to deliver a cargo sent by Her royal highness.

The Prince, a little shy, was preparing a speech to be delivered; trying to overcome his shyness.

He tried to memorize, looking at the blue waters, from the deck, as if seeking from them, their energy

The waters as if, were speaking to him, whispering in his ears, "Let's work together in synergy"

To hear this, the Prince suddenly overjoyed was; words began to pour forth spontaneously, like a song

What a pleasant experience this was, as if dolphins n mermaids were were singing along

Out peeped a pretty mermaid,  holding a ring for him; "marry me will you, my charming Prince please"

Watching her pure innocent beauty, her enchanting smile, the precious pearls she wore, he could just freeze !

His friend, his shoulder lightly touched; only to be gently awakened from his sweet reverie,

Oh boy! this is just what I needed most, now absolutely ready I am, for duty; it's gonna be a brilliant delivery!

The lecture, a success great was; there were multiple rounds of applause

A smile small,  fleeted across his face; knew he,  dolphins n mermaid, of his success were the cause.

LIFE IS UNCERTAIN AND PERHAPS SHORT

Hold not grudges too long, torment yourself do not, after all life is short

Any kind of lie, fabricate do not, try to keep things simple; truth please don't distort

The more complex we try to make issues, it crushes n destroys us

Let go off, ego, ange, pride, jealousy; over them do not fuss

Wealth n power corrupt relationships beautiful; don't let them come in your way

Breeding misunderstandings should be corrected every day, in every way

Life end may abruptly, then there's only regret, so, let's a dear one visit or call

Let's not keep things pending too  long; it's not good to things stall

Death comes uninvited, without a knock, when we are least prepared

It stops n at us stares with a fixed icy stare; its claws, teeth n eyes at us glare

Without further warning, lets ready be, to it surprise, whenever it arrives

When it does, let death also happy feel, to take away a hero like you, in his arms,

LOVE'S BRIGHT LIGHT

A man tall, black n handsome, fell in love with a girl white

He followed her all around and wouldn't let her out of his sight

The girl too attracted was towards him, specially his eyes bright

Soon in passionate love they were; n love culminated at its height

A beautiful baby born was, but like the father black with eyes bright

Her mother love her could not; she couldn't even stand her sight

Though her dad loved her, he couldn't stand those daily fights

Soon he left home; a thread separated was from a flying kite

She lay hungry, *****, wailing, crying for milk; pitiable was her plight

Lorn n neglected she grew up, all alone in an orphanage, under supervision tight

Working n studying hard shone out she; powerful like the Sun, a shining, shimmering star bright

Built a home beautiful for herself she did, besides a lake, on a hillock; grand was that site

Name n fame she had now; hence to inaugurate a home for the aged, came an invite

When with applause greeted she was, a frail old figure came to sight

Her heart went out to the elderly lady; so she gave her a hug tight

Spontaneously she knew this was someone her own; n she was right

For the elderly lady was her mother own, who had left her to her plight

Recognised her she through feelings, as if through an insight

The kind girl, in her arms held the figure frail, taking her home that night

"Love me you didn't Mom, but all my life I yearned for my parents, praying with all my might"

Tears streamed down from her mother's pale cheeks, as she held her tight

Relieved they both felt; love is truly beautiful, love is a shining bright light.

HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY

India, Her Independence n Republic status achieved, after years of slavery

Even today, our Armed forces protect our borders courageously n bravely

But sadly we citizens treat them shabbily, not taking their sacrifices n dedication gravely

God, awaken our sleepy souls soon; so that we appreciate the great work of our Armed forces

Mandatory should be a training in the army; ministers n beurocrates their children send must for defence academy-courses

Let us look up to them; and respect every soldier, who dedicatedly serves our Nation; his life risking

Salute I, every Jawan, every officer, who this protection unto us gives, his family's happiness risking.

Chopping trees instead of growing more and more

Diminishing greenery instead of constantly increasing the score

Wasting sweet waters and creating other types of pollution,

Instead of avoiding/reusing water and plastics as a solution

WHY DOES MAN DO THIS WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT HIS PROGENY

બધાને "Happy Uttarayan", કેહતા આવી એ બાળપણની, સુરતની ઉત્તરાયણ મને યાદ

ભાઇ-બહેનો સાથે, કઝીનો સાથે, પતંગ, માજા-ફીરકી, કિનના માટેનો કિધેલો વાદવિવાદ

અને પછી બધું ભૂલીને, હસી-બોલીને કબુલ કરવી, સ્વીકારવી એકબીજાની ભૂલ

પછી ઊંધિયું, જલેબી, પોંક, અને એના વડાં, મરીલીંબુની સેવ,  ખાણીપીણી માં થઈ જવું મશગુલ

માના તલના લડવા સાથે, આવે છે એ રંગ બે રંગી પતંગો સાથેનો તહેવાર, એ ઉજવણી યાદ

ભૂલી રહ્યા છીએ આપણે એ બૂમાબૂમ, શોરગુલ, એ "કાયપો કાયપો" નો સાદ

આજકાલ હવે એ નિર્દોષ મસ્તી તોફાને સાધ્યું છે મૌન; મોબાઇલે એ મૌજ છીનવી લીધી છે

સાનિધ્ય માં રહીએ કુટુંબ સાથે, ઈચ્છું છું એ દિવસો આવે પાછા, સુરતી ખમણ અને લોચો લાવવા કીધું છે કે ???

A puny weak man they thought he was; a leader ordinary n weak

But our Shastriji, though thin and wiry was fit n fiery; not at all meek

He practised what he preached; n bravely, determinedly, faced every cause

One of the best leaders we Indians had; to lose him, very sad it was

Bringing the Nation together, encouraging our jawans n kisans he did.

It is said that at the earliest, his enemies together; of him got rid

India(we Indians), lost a real-life hero; an intense man of integrity great

With your blessings, soon for the better, may change India's fate.

We pray "Om Shanti" for your peace, n from heavens your blessings seek;

Guide us O true son of the Indian soil; from ply-wood make us strong as teak.

दिल की लगी , लगी थी पहले लोगोंको एक बचपनकी दिल्लगी

पर थी वो बहुत ही गहरी; थी वो एक खाई जैसी, कुछ अधिक ही गहरी

वो चोट इतनी थी गहरी की दिल पर ही नहीं, दिलकी गहराइयों तक थी लगी

बचपन की मुहोबत थी वो, मेरा पहला प्यार थी वो; पर मेरी पुकार शायद थी न इतनी गहरी;

इस लिए, सुनी नहीं तूने मेरी दर्दभरी आवाज, मेरे गीतों में सुनी न मेरी फरियाद

A TAX PAYER'S WOES

Right from our birth to death, we keep paying tax;

As shown below, from tip to toe, we pay tax

Even on free, God given things, we pay tax

The rich n d ultra rich dodge taxes; but we have to pay a tax

The poor have not money, so they benefit, from our tax

The politicians; ah! live like leeches on our tax;

સમતા

જેમ ભરતી પછી આવે છે ઓટ; તેમ જીવનમાં આવે છે સુખ પછી દુઃખ

જીવનમાં અમને દુઃખ ખમવાની, આપજે તું તાકત, સદા રહેજે સનમુખ

જીવન ન જાણે ક્યારે બદલે સ્વરૂપ, હવાઓ ક્યારે બદલી નાખે પોતાનું રૂખ

જોજે, ઘભરાઈ નહીં જઈએ, થઈ જઈએ ન અમે શોકમાં ડૂબીને ગમગીન

તેમજ જ્યારે સુખ આવે ત્યારે છલકાઈ ન જઈએ, થઈ ન જઈએ રંગીન.

થઈ જઈએ ન મગરૂર અને બીજાઓ તરફ ન થઈ જઈએ ભાવહીન

રહે તારું માર્ગદર્શન સદા અમારી સાથે, તો જ જીવનમાં અમારા રહેશે સમતા

તારો માયાળુ હાથ રહે માથે અમારે, જીવનમાં ને જીવન પછી પણ, રહે તારી મમતા.

BROUGHT AN INSTANT SMILE ON MY FACE ; BUT ALSO SET ME THINKING.....

AAA...We were returning home on 31Dec evening, when our neighbors were leaving for New Year's celebration.
After exchanging pleasantries, when we saw their tiny daughter holding her doll, we asked the little one, "Shaivu, what's your doll's name?" Her Dad chuckled n said, "earlier she had an English name, but now it has been changed"; So out of curiosity we asked her,  "Shaivu, what's her new name ?" She promptly said, "Baba Ramdev"; to which we exclaimed, "what!!!" She said, "because her one eye is spoilt, she now looks like him".

BBB... As many Bawajis speak foul language, a cousin also did. Sitting on the varanda swing, he would call out to his wife or Mom, to tell them that the vegetable vendor was there, with a "BC, tarkariwalo aayoch...BC, Doodhwala aayoch" etc.
One day, when he wasn't around and the vegetable vendor came, his 3 year old daughter cried out loudly, "Mummy pelo BC aayoch". Needless to say, her Mom was shocked beyond words and her father got a dressing from his Mummy.

Children are very observant. That's why, we parents and grandparents must actually practise what we preach; and also strictly avoid what we don't want them to pickup and learn.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

From its cocoon, soon shall come out this butterfly, n away it will fly

And from the Heavens above, 2023 come will, from an azzure sky,

Year after year, we wish n each other greet; we love,  laugh, fight n cry;

Alongside a small prayer I recite for peace; n request you to also the same try.

"May peace n prosperity prevail; may health n happiness soon pour from the sky".

અમને બચાવવા આવ

સાઉ સડી ગયું છે આપણું ન્યાય અને સરકારી તંત્ર

દેખાય છે એક સાધારણ નાગરિકને ઠેર ઠેર ષડયંત્ર

ચારે કોર દગો ફટકો, બેસુંરું થઈ ગયું છે જીવન નું વાજિંત્ર

આં સાઝોની મરમમત કરવા માટે, ક્યાંથી લાવું હું કોઈ એવું મંત્ર

અમને બચાવવા તું જલ્દી આવ, ખતરામાં છે ભારતનું ગણતંત્ર

સતત પતન થઈ રહ્યો છે નીતિ રીતિનો દેશમાં; મોંઘવારી પણ છે સર્વત્ર

ભારત માતા કરે છે વિલાપ; ફેલાઈ રહી છે કુટેવો, કુટનીતિ, રચાય છે ષડયંત્ર

તારા સિવાય પ્રજા જાય ક્યાં, જડતો નથી કોઈ પણ ઉપાય; આપ કોઈ યોગ્ય મંત્ર

भक्ति

वृद्धावस्ता में हो जाती है जब क्षीण मानव की सारी शारीरिक शक्ति;

तब पल पल काम आती है उसे, उसकी सालों से की हुई भक्ति

हम कितने भी हो व्यस्त भगवंत, देना हमें भक्ति के लिए, थोड़ीसी शक्ति

और देना श्रद्धा और सबुरी, ता की कर सकें हम तनमन से भक्ति

आयुष्य हो जितना भी, तह दिलसे कर सके भक्ति, इतनी देना दाता हमे शक्ति

शरीर को अब लगने लगी है अशक्ति, पर देखना, इस लिए कम न हो जाये हमारी भक्ति

कवि

एक कवि या कवियत्री की कल्पना का साकार विवरण, लिखित रूप, है कविता

uकभी दर्द स्याही में ढाल देता है कवि, वो दर्द जो उसके दिल पर है बिता;

या तो करता है वर्णन की, वो किसिपे दिल है हारा, या किसीका दिल उसने है जीता !

मधुर वर्णन हो किसीका, या दुखभरी हो दास्तान कविके दिल की; होती है कविता में संवेदना

कहते है कलम में बहुत है ताकत, पन्ने पे स्याही बोल उठती हैं, उनमे छिपी हुई वेदना

कवि का कटाक्ष, उसकी कलम हमे सिखाती है औरोके मन को, किस तरह से भेदना

धन्य है वो कवि जो बता सके सच्ची नेक राह पर कैसे चलना; या फिर मन के भीतर झाँकना

वो सीखा देता है इतने सारे घोडोको, बिना कोई लगाम, नियंत्रण में रखते हुए कैसे हांकना

कवि तो जानता ही है बिना घूंघट उठाये, मुखडेको, नजरोसे, शब्द बाणोंसे कैसे ताकना

सही कहा है किसीने जहाँ पहुचता नहीं रवि, वहाँ, मानव-मन के भीतर, पहोचता है कवि।

एक कहानी

सुनी होगी आपने कहानियां तो बहुत सारी, काल्पनिक, दिलचस्प, रसीली अनेक

पर आज की कहानी जुड़ी है हमारे जड़ो के साथ, विशाल घटादार पेड़ था एक;

बच्चे उसकी छांव में खेलते थे, बूढ़े लड़ाते थे गप्पे, कभी न कभी बैठा था, हरेक

जीवनभर, बहुत पत्थर झेले थे उस पेड़ने, स्वादिष्ट आम लगते थे जो उस पर

कच्चे आम, खट्टे और मसाले के साथ, लगते थे चटपटे; मझे लेता था अचार का, हर घर

और जब वो पक जाते तो आमरस खाते थे बच्चे और बूढ़े; जाता था पेट भर

एक दिन अचानक उसको काटने आ गए कुछ लोग; नया रास्ता बनाने वाली थी सरकार

इस मुद्दे पर बहुत सारे लोगोंने इस बात का विरोध किया, बार-बार, लगातार

जब कुछ न हुआ तो तय हुआ हम अपनाएंगे गांधीजी की रीत, अहिंसा और असहकार।

मंत्रणा हुई अनेक, बैठके हुई बहुत सारी; अब मामला हो गया था सचमें संगीन

" हम पेड़को न छोड़ेंगे अकेला"; लोगोंने बनाये चार दल, तय हुआ हर दल पहरा देगा छे घंटे, रातदिन

लोकशक्ति जीती, झुकना पड़ा सरकारको, बच गया पेड़; साबित हुआ, कुछ हांसिल नहीं होता, सहकार बिन ।

तो चलो हम आजसे पेड़ नही काटेंगे, नहीं किसीको काटने देंगे ।

प्यासी धरती करे पुकार

धूपमें तप के हो गई हूं मैं, जलता हुआ अंगार; कहे बिचारि यह धरा

चाहिए अब मुझे ठंडी ठंडी बौछार, और श्रृंगार सुंदर और हरा

नदियाँ हो रही है मेरी खाली, और सागर  पानी से खूब है उभरा

सालभरकी प्यास बुझाने मेघराजको मैंने है, किया पुकार

आकाशको की है मिन्नतें हज़ार, जी भरके खोल दे आज तेरे द्वार

जी भर के मुझपे बरसना आज, सुन ले, इस धरतिने है तुझे पुकारा

ऐ हवा, लाना तू  बदरीयां काली, ओ बदरी बरसा जा जल की धारा

आत्मा है मेरी प्यासी, तृप्त कर दे तू मुझे आज, कर दे मुझे हरा, ओ मेरे यारा

झूम झूमके बरस, प्यासी धरती आज करती है तुझे अंतरमनसे पुकार

बरसना होगा अब तुझे, तन मन है मेरा प्यासा, निभाना होगा तुझे वादा-ए- प्यार

मेरा अंतर है प्यासा, तुझे बरसना होगा यहाँ, निभाना चाहती हूं मैं यह व्यवहार

याद रखना सदा यह बात, प्यार तो आखीर प्यार है, नही कोई व्यापार ।

राधिका रोये

मैं हूं वो सीप, बिना एक भी कीमती मूल्यवान मोती;

धुंधली पड़ गई है मोती सारते हुए अब मेरे नैननकी ज्योति

मोती आँखोने मेरी, तेरी याद में, न जाने कितने बहाये

तेरे इंतज़ार में मैंने न जाने कितने साल है गवांए

मोती मेरे बन गए है पानी, कीमत इनकी तूने न पहेछानी

दिलका दर्द जो मोती बनके बहा, उस दर्दकि कदर तूने न जानी

क्या कहूं तुझे, तू तो है अब एक राजा, ओ मेरे मथुरावासी !

कब मिलोगे मुझे तुम, ओ कन्हाई, राह निहारु ओ  अविनाशी !

Death comes to each of us, sparing none, to one n all

We for ourselves or our dear ones, death cannot stall

It's impossible to play this football match; one cannot pass on the ball.

However great a doctor is, a soul he can never reinstall

So finally, when a dear one passes away; into depression we may fall.

This perhaps is a re-awakening for us, a Heavenly alarm or a call

Our subconscious mind we have to stir n awaken; so that happily we enter Ahura's hall

Help me this depression, pain and frustration fight

Grant me patience and that much needed correct  insight

Let down I feel n forsaken too; feel I, a heaviness in my chest, tight

I know I need to control my feelings; letting negativity go off, like a kite

Smothered I feel, the wound n intensity too deep are; show me a ray bright

All you dear ones from the Heavens, please quickly help me set things right.
