BOTTLING UP BITTERNESS

How much can one bottle up bitterness, just easy this is not;

In the web of depression, one shouldn't ever be caught.

How does one get rid of this bottled up bitterness n pent up anger ?

Ah ! burst one day this anger will, after all, one is human not a store house of anger.

This bottled up stuff leads to depression, hypertension or disease of the heart

Then poor you, become you will, of these complications an unavoidable part.

So bottle your emotions do not, I tell myself, pour them out in ways some

I write them out, paint or sing them away; but some desperados take to ***.

If none of these help, just a kind shoulder seek n cry your heart out.

After you left for your heavenly home Vispi, of crying, I get an urge, a big bout

Come in memories, like a cascade of water, a huge, violent water fall gushing

Even if try I to stop them, with a smile fake;  these tears just come rushing

Bottled up emotions, becoming dangerous are, heart, body, mind n soul they affect

And more often than not, excruciating, long lasting n permanent are its effects.

HOME COMING

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AIR INDIA

On this day, on 15th October in1932 Jeh flew down with his cute baby to Bombay

After success great and celebrations many, where there was lots of funfare n play ;

Teething problem baby had, like any other child would, after all it was a part of the growing up way.

For some years everything was going good, till some jealous eyes wouldn't let her with Jeh stay

Stay with the person who made her, nurtured her so very painstakingly; Jeh was kept at bay.

Years dragged, she became feeble, unfit, unworthy, every buerocrat managed to her slay.

Then something happened, Ratan brought her home with love, a huge amount he had to pay.

But now at last the baby is in her uncle's or cousin's loving arms, forever to stay.

Regain her health soon she will, rejoycing are we, all who love her. Wishing you, dear lady, a very happy Birthday.

NB: how I wish I could work again with Ratan's Air India.

DASSEHRA

Signifies this special day of Dassehra victory; triumph of good over evil

Be it Ram, Faredoon or Krishna, show us they how to destroy a devil

In today's Kalyug many times saddened we are to see evil triumph over good

Desperately pray we should, that this condition reverse very soon would.

All around we see evil, cheating, ******, robbery, arson, loot and rudeness

May goodness overpower evil; prevail thereafter should only goodness.

If sincerely try we, to rid Ravan within us, we can; but endeavor ours should be earnest

Start if we right away, a little by little, surely pass we can this difficult test.

સ્વપ્નો કરે છે સંકેત

મન પાછું બહુ વિચલિત છે, જોજે ઓ ખુદા, અજુગતું કાંઈક ન થાય

સ્વપ્ન હતું ડરાવનું, કીધી છે મને બેબાખલી, બેચેન; જોજે કાંઈ બૂરું નહીં થાય

ઉઠી તેવીજ બંદગી કરી તને, કર જોડી; ઓ દાદાર, મારી શ્રદ્ધા પર આં વહેમ હાવી ન થાય.

સ્વપ્નમાં જોયું મારી લાલ બંગડી નથી તો તરત નજર ગયી બીજા હાથ પર

ત્યાં પણ એ ન જોતા, વિચલિત થયું મન મારું, મનમાં પેઠો એક અજ્ઞાત ડર, અસર થઈ મન પર

વિનંતી કરી ખરાં મનથી, શ્રદ્ધા જીતે, વહેમ હારે, આફત ન આવે કોઈબી મારા વર પર.

પણ થોડા દિવસોમાંજ તબિયત એની લથડી, પડ્યો મને ધ્રાસકો, માથી અસર થઈ એની ઉપર

હોસ્પિટલમાં ડોક્ટરે કહ્યું, છે એ ક્રિટિકલ, આં સાંભળી ચિત્ત મારું, થયું સાવ વિચલિત

કહી ન હતી આં સ્વપ્નવાલી હકીકત ઘરમાં કોઈને કે રખેને થાય મારી જેમ બધાં વિચલિત

હવે અશાંત મનમાં ન દબાવી શકતાં કહેવું પડ્યું બધાને ઘરમાં; ત્યારે બધાં થયાં વિચલિત

બહુ બંદગી કરી દુઆઓ માંગી બધાંએ, પણ લાગી ન એ કારગત,"પ્લીઝ જોજે ખુદા મારા"

મનમાં પેસી ગયેલો વહેમ હવે થવા લાગ્યો મુજપર હાવી, અસર થઈ મનમસ્તીશક પર મારા

હમબંદગીઓ થઇ, નિજી તો હતીજ જારી, પણ અસર ન પડી કાંઈ એની, વર પર મારા

ઓ ખુદા, સ્વપ્ન આપતો નહીં કોઈને આવાં બિહામણા, દહેશત હોય છે એવા સ્વપ્નોની તન-મન પર ભારી

લાગવા માંડ્યું હવે મને, આવવાની છે આફત કોઈ ભીષણ, બહુ જ ગંભીર અને ભારી

આખરે હું હારી, સધાવીયો એ દાદાર ની દાદઘામાં, સરોશની પનાહમાં, જીતી ગઈ બીમારી, એ ભારી.

A Good Deed Daily

Thousands of containers are used daily to deliver food.

All one needs to do is to make a hole at the bottom, a handful of soil n a seed or a twig to grow small plants and help the Earth to rejuvenate.

Money plants can very easily be grown this way. Why not satisfy our soul this way.

OUR AIR INDIA

A beautiful, wealthy, sleek, famous and most precious lady,  kidnapped was

Sadly, her importance, her popularity, her profitability was the cause.

On this occasion, her father, her creator, mentor , absolutely shocked and shattered was

So were all his colleagues, his employees; they all had a deep grouse;

But today very pleased must be our revered JRD; and so also, his pretty spouse

Thank you respected  Ratan, you our joy, expectations, verve n enthusiasm did arouse

Happy are we all that the kidnapped beauty is now safe n in the hands of a great person where she belonged.

To see this happy, satisfying, exuberating  day I dreamt and had earnestly longed;

May my Air India always prosper, may she again be at the very top ; for that's where she always belonged.

યાદ રહે આ સદા, માટીમાંથી આવ્યો તું, અને માટીમાં જ પાછો જઈશ,

તો થશે ભલું આપના દેશનું જો આ દિવાલી પર તું માટીના દિવા વાપરિશ.

ભલે હોય દીવડો એક, ફાયદા એના છે અનેક; ક્યારે તું આં મહત્વની વાત સમજીશ

એક ગરીબ કુંભારને મળશે રોજગાર, અને આપણા દેશનું ધન દેશમાં રહેશે

થશે ગરીબી થોડી દૂર, થોડી ઓછી, અને નાની આવક જરૂર વહેશે

કરું છું પ્રાથના એવી કે, દીવાનો પ્રકાશ તને અને મને, બધાને ઉજ્જવળ રાહ દેખાડશે

પ્રણ લે તું આજે એક નાનું, તું ભારતની માટીનો દીવડોજ પ્રગટાવીશ

જ્યારે પ્રેમ પૂજ્ય ભાવથી તું આ નાનકડો માટીનો દીપ પ્રગટાવીશ;

ત્યારે ભલે હું કે તું, દેશનું ભવિષ્ય ન બદલી શકીએ, પણ તું, એક કુંભારનું ભાવિ પ્રગટાવીશ.
