મુરઝાયલો છોડ

અરેરે, તું પણ મારી માફક મુરઝાઈ ગયો, અધ મુવો થઈ ગયો છે !

પાણી સિચ્યું, માટી ખણી, ખાતર પણ આપ્યું તને, તો પણ ક-વેળાએ મુરઝાઈ ગયો

તારાં પીળા, ખરતાં સૂકા પાન, જેવું જ છે, હવે ઝૂમાયલું મારુ પણ મન

તારી ઝૂકેલી ડાળીઓ જેમ જ છે ઝૂકેલું, મારું મન, દિલ, અને તન

નીરસ જીવન, હજી કેટલું જીવવું પડશે એની સતત ચિંતા સતાવે છે

બેસહાય રીતે, બીજાને આધીન જીવવું પડશે, સ્વીકારી લેવું મુશ્કિલ છે

સ્વાધીનતા આપોઆપ ખોવાઈ ગઈ; અચાનક જાણે ક્યાંક વહી ગઈ

આવી તે કેવી વિવશતા, આં તે કેવું અંધકારમય દિશાહીન ભાવિ

મારા મૃદુ, સંવેદનશીલ સ્વભાવ પાર મારુ ભવિષ્ય થઈ રહ્યું છે હાવી.

ઉખાડી તને પણ કદાચ પાછો રોપીયો હશે કોઈકે, એટલેજ બગાડ્યું તારું ભાવિ.

આપણા બંનેની દશા એક સરખી જ છે, પારકી જમીન આપણા નસીબે આવી.

Two of India's best sons, Gandhi n Shastri born were, on this day.

Celebrate n remember let us their great deeds once again, today.

Their sacrifice we must remember and grateful be to them always

Thanking God for granting them unto us; follow we must their wonderful ways.

Though sadly their end was truly very tragic, in fact actually gory;

Their all they gave to our Nation, meaningful n wonderful is their story.

Bow down I, to both these honest people n for India, blessings seek

Also about them and their courageous deeds, to our children we must speak.

For Armaity, this Earth, I sincerely wish to do plenty of deeds good

Achieve this easily, if bless me with success Ahura kindly would.

Achieve we can plenty, if many people cooperate in this mission would

Ahura, if Your light n guidance inspires them; then participate they would

By doing our little bit, a lot can be achieved; but everyone pitch in should.

Switching off all gadgets immediately after use, we very easily could

Using fuel wisely, planning trips well; save a lot of money, easily would.

Due to water scarcity, women go through trouble plenty; help them we could;

By planting trees, by rain harvest, achieve a lot we could

By canal n artificial lake constructions  possible become, this would.

In our own small way, switch off our gadgets,  lights immediately we should

Repair leaking taps n close all taps promptly after use, we should.

Reusing discarded water from ACs, ROs, washing machines save water could.

Seawater in coastal areas, for flushing toilets, be used easily could

If individual every, diligently does this, plenty of resources save we would.

એ દિવસે અમાવસ ન હતી પણ અચાનક ચાંદ અદ્રશ્ય થઇ ગયો,

અરેરે, એ એકદમ ઘનઘોર વાદળોમાં ન જાણે ક્યાં ખોવાઈ ગયો.

આમ તો અમાવસ એક દિવસ સુધી રહે, પણ મારો ચાંદ તો ખોવાઈજ ગયો

રાત અંધારી, રાહ અણજાણ, સવાર પડશે કે નહીં, એટલું બી બતાવી ન ગયો

એ તો જતાં જતાં, મારું સ્વસ્થ, શાંત જીવન સાઉ અસ્તવ્યસ્ત કરતો ગયો

કહ્યું મને ઘર છોડીને ક્યાંય જતી ના, તો તું, ક્યાં ચાલી ગયો?

અચાનક, અમાસ વગર, મારો ચાંદ ઘનઘોર ઘટાઓ માં ખોવાઈ ગયો

ONE WAY TICKET

Each time, traveled we on return tickets, this time decided you, to travel alone, one way;

To some destination unknown, you wanted to travel alone and there stay.

I had been to Air India, where I had to submit your certificate; it was a painful day

Every one remembered and missed you; n I couldn't keep my tears at bay

Know we all, life temporary is n destroyed is this body of clay;

Why then is it so very difficult to accept this fact that someday, to rest we all lay.

Your journey on your one-way ticket complete is, whilst I, my turn await, waiting for that day.

These days, avoid looking at my hands I, now so bare

Loved you n I both, at the shining red bangles, to stare

Also never to remove them ever, I took great care

Many you would buy; even place special orders;

Many with diamonds studded at the center or at borders;

It was joy n happiness sheer, for me a precious fodder!

You have for ever gone away, taking away my precious red

Very sad I feel, looking at my bare hand n your empty bed

I secretly often wished, instead of you, I could be dead;

For loved life you, much more than I did; in many ways

A crazy foodie you were n a traveller, ready with bags always

Memories there are aplenty of all the fun filled days.

Only if the rich would donate, every worker, every farmer would plant trees besides railway lines, on all roads, highways; and students would water them.... Wouldn't this world be a garden, a paradise with fruits, vegetables and flowers aplenty

Lets all do this.
