DRASTIC CHANGE

Things have so drastically changed in last twenty-four hours

Learn I will have to, to see your picture, around which there will be flowers

From a live wire, a photograph, become you have; just a steady dot.

So many changes occurred have, account them, I simply cannot

Numbness has me enveloped, yet my feelings I am trying to pour

43 years of married life and 45 years of association is the long score

How to react to this or it accept; I really don't know, what to do

It will be most difficult to live without you, but I will have to.

Perhaps with my writing, my passion, try I will to myself keep busy

But know I very well, life without you is not going to be easy.

May this Navroz usher in all that is good, all good things that happen should

Determine to bring about a positive, electrifying change, we should.

Each and every one of us, for our Ahura, become a rathestar should.

Follow the tenets n rites wisely made by our ancestors, we should.

May Ahura n Yazads all, grant us the necessary will power, the verve to be good

May we all practise Parsipanu, which teaches us to do lots of good.

If we married a humdin early, n had children three, it would be **** good.

If the wealthy Zarthostis help out to this achieve, it would be very good.

હતાશ થઈ ગઈ હતી એ નાજુક નમણી બાલા, દુઃખ થતું એને અસહય

જ્યારે પરણી હતી એ, ત્યારે હતી એ નાદાન, કૂણી હતી એની વય

પતિની જીભ હતી કાતિલ અને કડવી; હતો એ વેહમી, અને  હતી એ, અતિ નિખાલસ

બધાં સાથે નિર્દોષભાવે, બે બોલ હસીને બોલતી, આં જ એનો ગુનો હતો બસ

કોશિશ કરી હતી દિલોજાનથી, સાસરીયાના રંગમાં ઢળવા, પણ ઘવાતું હતું એનું સ્વમાન

બિચારીને કરતાં એ હાડમાર, ઘાયલ થતાં એના દિલ, આત્મા સળગી ઉઠતા એના કાન

વિચારતી હતી એ, કે પતિ છે કે દુઃખ આપવાનું કોઈ યંત્ર, ઘાયલ થતો એનો આત્મા

વિચારતી એ કે શું ઈશ્વર છે; અને હોય તો શું બહેરો છે એનો પરમાત્મા?

થાકી ગયી હતી એ, સાંભળી તાના એના, માની લીધી હતી એને હાર

કરતી તો બી એ અરજ ભગવાનને, "હે કનહાઈ સુધાર મારા પતિનો વ્યવહાર"

આઝાદી

આજે દેશ આપનો, ભલે છે આઝાદ, પણ ખુશી નથી લોકોમાં; દુઃખી છે પ્રજા

માધ્યમ વર્ગની પીડાનો નથી કોઇ પાર; અનૈતિક છે મંત્રીઓ, જે બની બેઠા છે રાજા.

હતી બહુ ઉમ્મીદો, લહેરો ખુશાળીની ઉઠશે, ખુશાલ અને સમૃદ્ધ રહેશે પ્રજા

પણ થયું બધુજ ઊંધું, મોંઘવારીએ મૂકી છે માઝા, બગડી ગઇ છે જીવનની મઝા

વગર વાંકે મળે છે વૃધો ને, બુઝુર્ગો ને પીડા; આત્મસમ્માન વગર, જીવન જીવવાની સજા

આઝાદી ભારી પડી ગઈ માધ્યમ વર્ગને, બિચારા શુ ફહરાવે ખુશાળીથી ઘ્વાજા

ઓ માં ભારતી, કરું છું હું તને યાચના, આપજે રામ જેવા ઉત્તમ, પુરુષાર્થી રાજા

INDEPENDENCE DAY

Call it they bloodless; but plenty of blood was, during partition shed;

Sadly events a bad turn took, suddenly changed our people's outlook

Joy ours was short-lived, as soon after, our Gandhiji was shot;

Chaos and confusion ruled; and we our character lost slowly but certainly

Hope things for the better change; strengthen our National spirit n character

May peace, prosperity and happiness prevail here; and all over the world.  

Wishes "Anar" Mother India and every Indian a Happy Independence day,

may Indians prosper and flourish; climb the ladder n go a long long way.

Emotional scars don't easily heal; speak sweetly n softly please

HELP

Help me not to ever break down, help me to stand, struggle n fight;

Help me not to cave in, face difficulties, help me to follow the path right

Help me to patient be and help me to endeavor with all my might.

Help me to faithful be; faith waiver shouldn't, be it in darkness or light.

Help me stay in Your loving arms, O Ahura, everytime, day or night.

Help me to do all that is right, keeping You O Lord, in my sight
