I feel like I’m sinking in a sea without water,
As I gasp for air I try forcing my arm to go up,
but its as if its sinking in quick sand
the harder I tug the faster it sinks.
My whole body has been devoured.
I scream for help
but its as if my voice has permeated
into an echoless world that cannot be heard.
I know that this is my last gasp of air,
I slowly open my month and a rush of fire runs up my veins deteriorating every last cell in my body.
Will the air reach my lungs before my heart turns to ashes?
Or will I burn in an instant with no trace of who I am.
