And someone

might stand

beneath a

falling star

and not know

what I know,

that it is

really just

universal light

reflecting from

your eyes.

cascading across

the black night

in glory.

moving on

a path of

celestial

bliss,

and I have

been the

child looking

up hoping to

catch a

glimpse

of you,

a moment of

your heavenly

smile.

as stars

play tonight

and moons

dance amongst

them,

and my dreams

could ask for

nothing more.
Napolis Mar 2019
This moment,

Heaven all

around

your eyes

in quiet

still of a

midnight sky.

clouds running

the horizon line

my thoughts

fall to you

like rain drops

seeking earth.
to nourish

and bless

your soul.

and what is

to become

of all

your angel

smiles,

as starlight

covers this

universal sky.

you the giver

of life to

everything

around you,

your laughter

the sound

of angel's sighs.

and at

the morning break

do not ever

think that

you are

alone or

not on

my mind,

to wish

you well and

to give

you prayers

of the morning

when you

first awake,

of love of

peace of

dreams

of yours

that will forever

come true.

with grace

in silent

night.

I pray.

one day

I might

find you

there.

And sleep

creeps across

your face to

close your

weary eyes,

and I wonder

about you

3000 miles

away,

my destiny

it seems

are in

these words

to seek

your smile

and  one

day to hear

your laughter

at dawn.

and whether it

be this lifetime

or the next

under a

summer solstice

sky or night.

I will willingly

surrender all

of my stories

to you,

for your blessings

and wide-eyed

amusement.

and until then

I will search

the stars for

you that tonight

set my thoughts

to wonder,

if you might

reach out

to me someday,

like dandelions

reach for

the sun,

like water

falls from

the sky.

you are a

wonder to

me over and

over again.

with your Calypso

eyes and your

melancholy

way,

and certainly

in God's heart

I know one

day my

dreams will

call you

home.

And what

is to become

of our winter

shadows

and conscience

stories

if we do

not share

them most

between us.

let my

watercolor

memories

bleed on

to your

page and

yours to

mine.

to sit

on an English

hill and close

tight your

eyes

and share

our life

conversations

back and forth

in prayers.

our voices

like the echos

of an

ocean wave

between two

great ocean

shells.,

your voice

do I hear

whenever

I close

my eyes.

and wish

upon your

dreams,

that you

share with

me tonight.

There  is
a quiver
in your
lips,

where a
moment
ago
my lips
used
to be.

a gentle
nod of
your eyes
where my
dreams
fell
asleep
from the
night
before.

and your
tangled
angel hair,

lies across
my arms
in perfection
like the
bloom of
a thousand
wild flowers

on a hill,

and my
body
aches
at the
sight
of you,

and my
flesh
runs
deep
to your
tender
embrace,

much like
moons to

stars at
night.

that know
exactly
where
they were
meant
to be.

and I reach

for you.
Napolis Mar 2019
My old

bones call

to you,

one last

offering,

they reach out

to you

like a

stream just

before a

frozen winter's

night.

and I

want to

cherish every

moment of

you,

and your poet

words and

thoughts.

until time

freezes me

over,

and  this

one moment

of you is

lost.

you are

gentle and kind,

loving and deep

of thought,

be willing to

reach out

to me and

take a

leap of

faith with

your eyes

wide open.

so our

words will

tangle there

and our voices

will laugh,

and at times

we will

look to others

like drunken idiots

dancing in

the park,

and we are.

and we

have found

this moment

in time

and we will

waste none

of it.

as I move in

your seas

and you

in mine.

to places

where no

one else could

fathom.

or ever

dared to

try.
Napolis Mar 2019
And in

between

your thoughts of

shadow and

light,

and between

your breathing

of sighs

and whispers,

seek me

there.

let me in

to  your quiet

moments

of hope

and despair.

wrap them

around me,

let the

universe

sing and

dance.

and in

your eyes

allow  me

to see

the million

stars that

make them

shine,

like nothing

that I

have ever

seen.

and hold

your  body

still,

so I might

feel your heart

beating against

mine,

like great

oceans

to shore,

tides in

tides out,

but always to

return to

this place

again

with you.
