Sometimes I feel like my fellows don’t understand me
Landed in a generation stifled by mere mediocrity
Preoccupations of prospects and public relations
Of notoriety and social connections
Riddled by scams, fans and grams
Chained by 3 second windows of opportunity and 2 second attention
spans

All fruits of a mass new intervention
tailored-suit pleasure, fostered by their inventions
Attempt of life changing and revolutionizing conventions
A disconnected life in a hyper-connected dimension
Where hours become minutes and seconds the new currency
I mourn for the future and gaze at it worryingly
The societal cage, scrutinizing us all, being held captive by a force ** entertainment stall.
