Death has no favourites, it does not choose
If you're addicted to drugs, *** or boose
It does not matter if you're a saint or a sinner
If on earth you were a loser, or a winner

Whether you **** a million or one
Whether you are a daughter, or a son
Whether you fell into despair, or had fun
Whether you walked through life, or chose to run
It is done...

No judgment, no afterlife
Just a corpse on the ground, bringing sadness and freight
Nobody can help it, nobody can stop it
Whether you embrace it on earth, or escape it in a rocket

Those who attempt to cheat death
Whether they helped the poor, or committed theft
They all come to the same realisation
Living forever was only in their imagination

Is it pre-decided, is it fate?
People always ponder these things, when it is too late
We see it everyday, take its course all around us
from your family and friends, to the guy you saw once on the public bus

It does not discriminate, it doesn't base off character
Though there is a large difference, in those who greet it with tears or Those who do with laughter
Whether you wanted to be a superhero, billionaire or a witch
Or if you owned a Billy Mays endorsed 'Handy Switch'

There is no reaper, no cloak no scythe
Just a soul, who meets the end of their life
Try as you might
You can't keep your loved ones out of death's sight

So instead of reminiscing on the past
Realise that this soul is not the last
Instead, enjoy your life while you have it
Do what you love, don't fall into a sadness pit

Plant the seeds of the garden of your legacy
Instead of getting anxiety over the things you cannot forsee
Do something meaningful other than reading poems on a website
And make the best of life, before death takes out your light.

It's a sight everyone at the party sees
A man tries to dance
Then he fails, and runs from the party
with a missing shoe and hunched stance

He doesn't show himself again
He no longer 'let's loose'
Than he finds he's given up
As he ties the noose

He was an an idiot, now he hangs
In the dark, the abyss, in blight
He looks for a way from this dark
And sees the light...

HI, BILLY MAYS HERE WITH THE HANDY SWITCH

The television turns on, and an infomercial for him to see
Then he cuts himself down, realises this isn't his destiny

He goes to the store
Barges through the door
And than he walks in and stand proud
two feet firm on the floor

He buys the switch
Goes back to the party
He confronts the crowd, such a b__

With a spring in his step, a flare in his eyes
He pulls off the greatest dance sequence ever seen
No lies

The man impresses the crowd, gathers the attention
Though proving his worth was his main intention
He's cracking, under this pressure again
But than he realises, it's time a message is to be sent

He delivers an encore, Left, Right and ends with the Moonwalk
And than he becomes the star of the part, centre of the talk

A kid, years younger, asks him how he dug himself out of his embarrassment ditch
And he credits his abilities all to the handy switch

A man of glue
When a conversation is due
assures noone is blue
As he is the man of glue

A man of glue, or glue guy is you rather
To him you are not some other
Instead you are just another
Friendly, interesting and unique brother

A man of glue, who introduces the world of poetry
And can write poems about glue that the world has never seen
He's introduced people such as me
To poetry deserving of making history

The man of glue, though he is unusual
Will change your dull life, and give it renewal
One minute he's talking about anime, the next steel beams and jet fuel
He's is known by many other titles, though not as memorable as the man in glue

Perhaps one day he will realise, and read this poem
From a person who knows him
Will he know that it's me?
Let's just wait and see
For the guy who introduced me to the site (Wonder if he'll find it)
