I see a wave

In an ocean
In a person

I see a wave

In a leaf like a wrist
Twists a goodbye

How a sad day
Curls like a wave

A forest's vivid verve
Flows with
Rivulets
And waterfalls

And nature's light
Through my eyes
Is a new
Science and poetry

I drive
And compose with inward
Eye:
How the sky
Through my windshield
Along with Earth's garment
Trees, air, grass, and field
Seems still, fair
And meant to be

Silent sun and soulful air
While the bus creaks
We sit under its dome
A traveling temporary home
We climb a steep hill
Descend on valley splendor
Until I stop and a passenger
Enters - and doesn't pay the fare

I

Alaska mist
Like a princess
Covers my loneliness

II

Alaska mist
Kindly insists -
You are living through me

Little green bug
Riding on my windscreen
Holding on with a snug
Why are you so green?

Only to be seen
By me
A human being
Not our Creator above?

Little green bug
Flies away
The sun rises
I give you a hug

so natural and able
to trickle down and around
an apple

There are two beauties
One
I cannot see
The other in front of me

One
Like a flower - before it's grown
The other
Like the sun - while I roam

One
Beauty, beyond the mind
Yet is with me -
The stars and grand design

There are two beauties
The one I see -
My wife,
Intertwined with everything
