secondhand

it smokes,

unashamed

floors settle

and i shake

heart pounds,

and voices quake

gilding, mildewing

american dream

small girl's neuroses

and bent family
i can hear them.
touka Nov 2015
feel a woman, ate up
by sea

all the color
in her face

bled into ocean
free

swimming
untraced

pink
for rosy cheeks

and lilac
for painted nails

and her husband, raising sails
while she shrieked

how she shrieked
for shoreline
how she screamed
for his eye

"look at me."
i'm the ghost in the back of your head.

post meridiem,
sleep

schemata dream

and
ante meridiem

public transit
seethes

''de anima"
but
on soul
you do not have

psychotic

numbers
in everything

you are not living,

thing.

Hey, i wanna
cut off my fingers
and string them into a necklace
and wear it
but youll have to
do the clasp for me
cuz i wont have any fingers.

And ill never take it off
cuz i wont be able to.
Ok michael.you really outdid yourself here.

Julie Butler
all she did was
reach for a glass
and
my eyes became like pens
drawing my love
with every stretch of
her legs
building up until i
felt like the snap between
the stem and the apple
twisted a little and
so completely consumed

against snow sunset
plow the land
freshen up
with ***** hands

cold cassette
sings along
to dial-up net
breathing strong

against scratched windows
moonlight dance
and paces slow
to fretful finance
I don't really know what this poem is, lol. Maybe I'll edit it later.
