Sitting here alone like this,
Beneath the morning sky.
The sun gives me a happy kiss,
I look up at it and sigh.
Our lovely earth is hard to diss,
Upon its grassy blanket, I lie.
To me this world brings total bliss,
Why would anyone want to die?
Sometimes I feel quite ******
That I didn't get to say goodbye,
But more than anger I do miss...
Miss him so much I start to cry.
I will forever be his little sis,
As I look up at Him and sigh.

There is a desire within me,
a rich burning spur
which in my side
is planted.

Reaching, steady, patient,
weaving like vines for sunlight,
its heat,
the moon.

Roots,
cold and beckoning,
dip the cosmic water
and break space with a
word.

Sparks stir
in the dark,
kin with stars,
Icarus ash vanishing.

I am that ash,
that shell cast
and waiting for a casket.

A wicker man
with map hands
holding a coal heart
in a flower petal basket.

It's tragic..
but laugh!
We need the wheat,
but there's magic
in the chaff.
this is about the thirst for eternity
and the certainty of death

The cord is caught between my desk and my foot
my thoughts and my tongue
my fingertips and everything else
**** life from willow
and scream at television screens
that project images into vectors
eating steel through cotton table cloths
every Sunday.

Seated, watching the time
restraining thoughts of getting there
when there hasn't yet been defined.
Uselessness and vigor
will pour through my pores
at 1919 ft worth
and settle,
****.
It's never going to settle.
