After the horror
show
I messaged you
because
after those scary
visuals,
I needed someone
to
be with me
while
my anxiety faded
away,

and as we
conversed
your presence reassured
me
there’s nothing to
fear.

I'm not picking
up
phone calls from

because I don't
have
anything more to
say.

What should I do
with my life?
I don't know,

won't be alive
forever.

The groundskeepers
are
making so
much
racket outside
tending
to my
lawn
that I
can't
hear myself
think;

they're not
being
rude to
me
I just
can't
stand the
sound
of power
tools.
