weathering my downpour

for me to
ease.

When I was little
I played in the rain.
I've never felt so
free
in my entire life.
The sensation of raindrops
hitting my face,
splashing in and out
of puddles,
and stomping my feet
in the mud.
Life doesn't get better
with age.

was when I was 9,

Following a daily
routine

an autistic human
being
because it gives

the feeling of
reliability.

Periodically rest has
nothing
to do with
relaxation
sometimes it's an
act
of surrendering
to a situation
which you can
do so little
about.

Men may not blatantly
share
their true feelings but,
if
when y'all are conversing
you
learn to listen more
closely
to their words, they'll
always
reveal precisely what they
need
you to know about
them.

People walk
in
and out
of
my life
like
it's some
kind
of revolving
door.

At work every day
ridding
the clock with you
helps
make the time move
faster
and before I know
it
I'm ready to go
home.

so much as
a kiss goodbye?

make-up.

There's no
shame
in loneliness
because
all living
things
depend on
each
other to
survive,
so feeling
alone
and seeking
togetherness
is a
natural
state of
being.

stimulus
check is
deposited
into my
savings
account then
I'll
payback all
of
the money
that
I owe
to
my grandma
because
she deserves
it.

She felt like home.
A warm place with
no panic, terror, or

escape to when things
turned sour and my

afternoon.

sky

Her smile greets me

I walk through the

morning
and makes me feel
like
I can face the
day.

My boss caught
me
playing on my

at work and

chastise for it,

she's cool like
that.

My friend
didn't
say a
word
when she
skipped
town without
me,
because she
knew
that I
would've
came with
her.

My best friend
thought
to send me
funny
videos from our
favorite
t.v. show; three
states
away we can
still
share a laugh
together.

If you've ever felt
lonely,
anxious,
or depressed.
Take heart
because
you can always be
a shoulder to cry on
all you have to do is
sit still and listen.
Letting the tears roll down
your arm and unto the floor.

I'm gonna take
Ash
on a car
ride
so that he
can
get out the
house
for a little
while.

depression
is setting
