The modest Rose puts forth a thorn:
The humble Sheep. a threatning horn:
While the Lily white, shall in Love delight,
Nor a thorn nor a threat stain her beauty bright

your name echoes,
fills my head,
each waking thought,
screams the sounds of your name.

In my travels I spent time with a great yogi.
Once he said to me.

“Become so still you hear the blood flowing
through your veins.”

One night as I sat in quiet,
I seemed on the verge of entering a world inside so vast
I know it is the source of
all of
us.

Peter Pan stole my innocence,
and the hurricane claimed my name.

Exasperated replies conquered the dawn,
and a baking tin of foiled hate.

Forgetful days will come forth hence,
and sleepless nights will hold the blame.

As silent screams will whisper through cracks,
and driving motions continue straight.

To uncoil a watch too wound,
and overclock a piece.

Releasing the vine from being that was bound,
I think that would be nice.
I just do not see this as working. It's too "skippy" and jumping around.

Falling in love hits you
Like a frigid crisp breeze in spring
It is unexpected
And immediately makes you feel
Comforted, but love
Can make you feel free and wild,
As if nothing else matters
But your,
Devotion.
CAUTION!!!
Naked skin and heart...
Once hit hard and painful....
You will ask for more or die...
You told me I was **** when you touched me
on my chest and stomach,
but I am sure that I wasn’t **** at all.

I have memories of you
cradling me like a lion with his cubs,
except there was nothing paternal
to your touch or words,
and I felt no safety when I was
in your bed.
Not even when you told me not to worry,
not even when I came to you
to escape my nightmares.

You didn’t seem to understand
that you simply led me into new,
scarier ones.
You feel it ripple your bones,
in waves, in waves, in waves,
wavering across your spine,
in and out,
seething,
teething the bottom of your mind,
the part that connects jaw-line to skull,
the part you wish to pry your fingers into,
the part you wish to slam your knuckles through,
the part you wish to tear ligament from ligament from
the part you wish to ground into thick, black pulp and sod.

So you can mirror yourself
violated.
Painting self portraits, fists swinging
wildly,
narcissism sails eagerly from
cascades in skewered necks.

Could you finally, then,
give?
Could you finally, then,
give enough
to let loose hounds
thundering in your throat,
gullets run red, raw
from pulling chains
through bowels…
Could you finally, then,
let the outburst out and burst through those very bowels to spew fragmented thoughts onto the floor after you’ve berated the very walls that dealt with the pyres and the floods and the ice and the hell outside foaming at the mouth to be let inside to rip you apart in the very fashion that you ripped apart your own heart in an effort to live up to the family that sours in your veins?

And their mothers cry as they **** harder,
and their fathers cry as they swing harder,
and their sisters cry as they scream harder,
and their teachers cry as they blink harder,
and their preachers cry as they lie harder,
and their friends cry as they grow farther
apart.

Now we can see where they come from when they gag and heave into a night of small candy pills.
Now we can see where they come from when they’re found face down in the ditches and gutters.
Now we can see where they come from when they cry into the same phones that split their skulls
Now we can see where they come from when they stare, hopelessly waiting for the pawn shop nine to pull itself.
Now we can see where they come from when their ***** fills their lungs in cars and bathtubs painted red and brown.
Now we can see where they come from when their fathers drop them like wasted forties into the streets after ******* in the empty bottle.
Probably the longest poem I'll ever write, and it's so far the longest I've written. I'm proud of it, at least for now.
Caress your soul and keep it clean
Try not to immerse it into fight
Riots are for the dreamriders
And those who can't see light

Weren't you a dreamer once?
Weren't I a restless imp?
Now we write about fairies
As quills break on undrying ink

Boiling water surrounding me
And a crater, exhailing mud and dust
Yet all I do is gaze at galaxies
And tie my seatbelt steadfast

Would you call yourself inactive?
Would you take up all the guilt?
I,for once,made vows of nothing
And promised myself I wouldn't quit

Once you thought you were different
Once I thought I could be sane
Now we are waving flags to tyrants
Draining blood from a promising vein

All that is left,a lethal passion
Enjoying life,a devouring madness
Every white dove I meet is murdered
Leviathan grows,destroying my kindness

Thus here I stand,beneath hell's tides
And watching as the ship goes down
I play my harp to soothe the pain
Of those who are about to drown...
