If my life were written as a letter,
Memories lasting each a word or two,
Then those scrawled ‘cross fronts and backs of pages,
Would be the memories I’ve written about you.
If today I wrote you as a letter,
Any reader would be quick to see,
How just your heart, in sentences on paper,
Is enough to steal my heart away from me.
Today, together, we should write a letter,
Live today, so together when we need
A letter there to make tomorrow better,
It will always be there just for us to read.
