The colour of this flower
Has already faded away,
While in idle thoughts
My life goes by,
As I watch the long rains fall.

As I dozed
The man I love
Appeared, so
It is dreams that
Have begun to comfort me.

Lo que ha sido arrinconado
lo que dimos por perdido
la montaña sagrada
nuestro doble divino

I long for that
Which all possess
Taken for granted
But when lost
All pettiness forgotten

A cold loneliness
My only solitude
Nothing for me here
But empty sorrow
A bittersweet silence

Yet joy alights
When they are embraced
Those who feared
What I am
Become one

But until that hour
On that day
When all join me
I will remain
Forever Alone

We are blind to the present
observers of the past
unknowing of the future
in a Universe so vast

in search of other beings
in search of things like us
to touch the present briefly
to feel the touch of Love

Me,

I stride through space and time
I learn the way of things
I act and find reaction
I try to use my wings

I am a little robot
a program with a mission
no clue as to the meaning
no write access permission

my runtime is not endless
few clock cycles at most
I need to find the answer
then turn into a ghost

The night is never really quiet,
You hear the breeze even
as it shifts all around you.
It is the memory of the day
recalling all that has happened,
Nothing stirs. Memory ebbs.
No shuffling of feet, no voices
talking without speaking.
No traffic rushing up
and down the streets,
among the palm trees.

Absence keeps us alert,
with only certain things to hear,
The movement of the trees,
a slight tug of the waves
of thought, breaking on
the shore, only heard in silence.

Must I fear evil? I should not!
For whom I must fear is my God.
Who cares me. Who departs not;
Who shares love. Who gives light
(To which its lurk showed me the way).
For God, Himself, is the beauty of every purest day.

I am blind, yet I can perceive.
I am dumb, yet I can speak.
I am poor, yet I am rich.
I am rejected, yet I am accepted.
Must I fear evil? I should not!
For God saves me from that Land of Nod.

My heart dwells always upon His arms
When there’s no chance, He delivers chance
With this Nature, I can wander not alone
With that Heaven, Heaven is my Home;
For my God’s Love, time can always reveal
That I should fear Him, Jesus, not the evil.

Can you coax your mind from its wandering
and keep to the original oneness?
Can you let your body become
supple as a newborn child's?
Can you cleanse your inner vision
until you see nothing but the light?
Can you love people and lead them
without imposing your will?
Can you deal with the most vital matters
by letting events take their course?
Can you step back from you own mind
and thus understand all things?

Giving birth and nourishing,
having without possessing,
acting with no expectations,
leading and not trying to control:
this is the supreme virtue.
