A Sky Of Melted Butter, Harbors The Setting Sun, Suspending It Above, Flustered Waves Of Blue I Smell Like The Sea The Sails Against The Sky, Have Turned To Silhouettes, The Gentle Waves Caressing, The Edge Of The Horizon   I Taste Like The Sun Seabirds Have Flocked Together, And Are Now Flying Back To Shore, Slumber Has Teased Their Eyelids, For The Jaded Waters Are Vast I Look Like The Stars The Moon Has Floated Upwards, Casting An Ivory Shadow Below, The Wind Has Now Become Calm, The Blue Waves Have Become Still I Sound Like The Breeze The Salt Encrusted Wind Cooled; The Sky Was No Longer Gold, Sails No Longer Dragged Their Cargo, Across The Blackest Of Ocean Waters *If You Were To Touch My Soul, You Would Only Grasp A Word.* Home © Sydney Victoria 2014

5 Sences (The Sea & I)
“You have the ocean in your eyes.” He whispered softly. She smiled and shook her head. “I see the calm drift of the sea, the violent, deadly raged of the ocean. And the longing to be drawn close to someone you can never have, but I see beauty the most. I want to sail forever in your ocean.”

The Sea In You
Ah yes, i too wish to be by the sea So at night my soul can roam free Riding the waves in the ebb and flow While my mind is caressed by the gentle wind that blows The sand between my toes makes me smile as my tension goes The beach is everything to me I love the sound, the sight, the sea It gives me peace and makes me feel free.

The Sea
We're to strong for one another. Like land versus the sea. Constantly clashing, fighting. Except I'm land, and you're the sea. You crash against my shores, over and over. Day after day, taking pieces of me with you, each and everytime. Slowly, bit by bit, you're dragging me out to sea. You're drowning me, and because of it, I love you even more. You crash against my shores one last time. Finally, I give. My heart falls into your hands. Just like you knew it would. I'm yours. Your waters are to treacherous to navigate. I am certain, I'm lost at sea.

To the Man I Know
I'm stranded and I'm lost at sea This wasn't how it was supposed to be And if this is the end of me I wonder who'll remember me I washed up on a deserted island not sure if the first thing to look for be treasure or food for my survival Should I start picking up branches and rocks to create a prehistoric rifle Maybe create my own solo man made Eiffel I can make my own community and rules without being stifled I don't know about making America great But I promise the salvation I make will be worth the wait In the foreseeable future you'll forget it was an island and see it as a resort Then you'll resort to having to re sort your financial responsibilities to take a trip to my resort I was stranded at sea but look at what new scenery did for me

The Sea
Lighthouse of my loneliness, Sweetener to my bitterness. Beauty no eyes have ever seen, Sour, sinful, yet pristine. Left untouched, Like the very last ****** beach, Quietly waiting to be reached. I wander barefoot, Across the white sands, soft as silk. The humid sea breeze brushes my skin, And I pause— To breathe it in. Tides of lust wash over me, I'm drawn to step into the sea. For all the beauty that could be— The sunlight kissing on our skin, For every beach we'd wander on, Each song we'd softly hum along, The foamy waves we'd dive within, Like a silent, cinematic scene. Then comes this doubt, Pungent and blue— I might just love the thought of you, I might fall for something ideal, Never to see it wasn't real. Your siren song, heavenly chords, Might be the hook I'm lured towards. I wonder if you're kind and gentle, Patient enough to truly handle Something fragile as one's trust— A soul still haunted by its past. For I'm not sure I have the strength To swim all the way up again. So say it now, while it's still dawn, And the water's too shallow to drown.
