Look at the shady sky
The clouds moving with the north wind making incredible shapes,
Making me remember every single moment with you and your gentle hands
Making me so comfortable
That even your small hands can become my large blanket
The shade of the tree falling on just our faces….
Our Hearts completing each other’s heartbeats
Feeling your every single breath as mine
Do you too remember me??
I wish you were here,
I wish we were here together
Looking at the clouds through each other’s eyes
Feeling the love in the north wind
Loving each other
No matter what tragedy life gives me ,
You will always be there with me
Under the same tree
Staring at me.

The air brushes through her soft, dark hair.
Smiling, she gazes at the wild, blooming trees.
I had not felt this happiness in a long time.
Longing not only for the man who was the spring breeze in my hair,
but the love that he would bring me.

i was planted, nurtured
and gorged myself
on my mother's love, some sort of fertilizer
i grew, where and when
they thought i wouldn't
and i thrived
i bloomed
and i was beautiful
you cannot touch me
i wilted,
i fell down, but my daughters know what to do
but i will come back
my thorns will be remembered
alongside my beauty
but that doesn't matter anymore
you can cut my flowers down,
but you cannot keep spring
from coming

Welcome back Koine,
I bet someone as strong-willed and stubborn as you
Really is enjoying the wild weather you bring
Daughter of Demeter
Your mother's joy this year is brilliant as ever
As flowers bloom from every corner of the earth
Wife of Hades
How perplexing must this season be for you
A reunion and a goodbye at the same time
Persephone
I hope you get a nice tan this year

Fields of Bluebonnetts
Suddenly appearing
New birth upon us
Songbirds we're hearing
Daylight is lengthing
hearts are strengthening
Dance to the music of life

You waited for the season
when all the flowers bloom
All for hoping that what was dead be revived; that what was lost be found
Yet to no avail
Spring came and pretty sure spring would go; but no matter how much you watered and no matter how much you cared, all you hoped and prayed for would remain dead

Tulips catch sky water for the fairies today
Late blooming March Bells,
the only sun
Dandelions dance, taking even the breath of The Almighty
In their glistening glory
Weeping Cherry tree sways, as though she's a ballerina,
Covered in perfectly cut crystals
Oil on the street,
becomes a rainbow with fragments of light,
stolen from heaven
As I watch,
Heaven falls
Making love with every earthen thing
giving shine
Love
Nourishing
Spring Rains

Rustling winds carry away the blue tide
As you stand on the beach of maturity
Facing the golden sun of happiness
You feel taller than the world
Yet still shorter than the moon
And you walk into the rapidly warming ocean
and look up through the water
and see the sun rapidly approaching
and the only thing stopping you from grabbing it
is yourself
because you are the power
you are the gatekeeper to all
and as the newly sprung life surges around you
you feel at peace
while you drown in the ocean of life

one with the riptide
the wilderness like her muse,
docile like a doe
rolling waves pull her in
her hair, swept like the rippling current,
its embrace against the moon

It means the seeds have sprouted
and grow larger every day
the rains, and fairer weather
grass, flowers, dance and play
It means to some, renewal
to still others, begins, and ends
places, people, and things
life and hope, portends
It means to me, and others
brighter days, and greater ways
seeking to discover
better lives, with spirits, raised

Like music in the distance I hear you whisper
And your scent is stronger than wisteria.
I can feel the freedom being released from me
While your words form a melody.
As I daydream my life away
I sit back and listen to your soothing song.
I have the perfect image of you in my mind,
Calm and peaceful beneath your wind-blown hair.
And I see far away, clouds in a hazy sky
The sun on your arms, the wind teasing my shirt.
As I put my arms around you and your head rests on mine
Slowly, like a chiffon blouse, your fatigue slips from your shoulders.

Spring time of the year
Pure, present, pleasure pulse
Right to the heart, ricochets
'In-love' feel of the earth
No part in the world's not worth
Grace in the eyes, Love in the heart
Time and again
In drizzly rains
Mellow sun shines
Easing the nerves, pleasing the folks!

It is the first day of Spring
Such a wonderful thing
A time for rejoicing
Definitely!
A new year in the making
now that winter is breaking
The whole world is awaking,
Thankfully.
The long winter is ending
Daylight hours are extending
Good weather is pending,
Hopefully.
Longer days so empowering
Plants that spent the winter cowering
Begin budding and flowering,
Abundantly.
After months hibernating
It’s time for procreating
Many creatures start mating,
Joyfully.
The whole world is reviving
Mother Nature is thriving
Offspring start arriving,
Happily.
Birds that spent winter sojourning
In the sun start returning
As the weather begins turning,
Eventually.
And such a wonderful thing
to hear the birds begin to sing
in the bright early morning,
Cheerfully.
Everything begins growing
New life begins showing
Bright new colours glowing,
Eagerly.
People get to wondering
what the new year will bring
Hoping, wishing, praying,
Earnestly.

On the first day of spring, I see bare earth
and feel the cold in my fingers and toes.
So, I ask again when winter will end.
But the birds sing early in the morning
and remind me with the promise of the sun.
Wait, they tell me, for all good things take time.
So, I wait for sun shining on the rain
and for the rain falling in the sunshine.
Here, melted snow mixes with dust and dirt.
But remember, this is where flowers grow.

I walk outside
SNEEZE!
pause
SNEEZE!
pause- step
SNEEZE!
Oh geez,
Here come the bee's.
Sunlight streams
Blinding me
My head it screams.
Grab some shades
I'll wish and pray
For good old cloudy days.

Spring has many calling signs
Like flowers and birds and sun
Or getting home to find
Thirty cars at your neighbor's for fun
For every spring and summer
The family across the street
Plays mariachi louder than a speaker
With their entire extended family to greet

Trickling streams released from ice
The return of feathered friends above
Blossoms of plum and cherry sprouting
Rays of sun captured in morning fog
Where does this infant season take you?
To pastures of wild flowers as far as you see?
Along creeks buzzing with young flies and bees?
This infant season is my favorite time to live
Take these weary bones and let them
Soak in the season's infant rainfall
Now is the time for rebirth and
Revitalization of the heart
