I died that night,
it was over.
I chose not to fight,
for peace of mind.
or so I thought…

“learn to forget”,
I tell myself every minute,
but I see you everywhere.
I close my eyes and give a sigh,
and imagine you’re near.

I have no regrets,
nor apologies to give,
only but memories to offer.
nothing matters,
nothing but you.

soon i’ll wake up,
maybe I’ll see you again.
if not this lifetime,
maybe the next.
see you

Clad in lights of winter borealis,
Draped in blue and crimson,
Her gaze freezing, numbing,
Hurting, suffocating... inviting

The heart is wanting,
The soul is yearning
Trying desperately not to say a word,
for it might fall on deaf ears
