Better that every fiber crack
and fury make head,
blood drenching vivid
couch, carpet, floor
and the snake-figured almanac
vouching you are
a million green counties from here,

than to sit mute, twitching so
under prickling stars,
with stare, with curse
blackening the time
goodbyes were said, trains let go,
and I, great magnanimous fool, thus wrenched from
my one kingdom.

A whisper rises as the wind blows and I close my eyes to listen
I can't understand what's said by the trees
But I love to listen, more than anything else
It's calming, soothing, almost therapeutic
And the sun kisses my face softly as the soft breeze brushes by
Sitting up this high should scare me, would scare me
But sitting at the top of trees has always been my favourite place
I can hear the whisper of the leaves as the breeze teases me
And I close my eyes again, thankful for this quiet little place
That I can truly call *mine

Why?

Why?
Everything has a reason,
you need just to recognize it, and
to do it the journey's long, but
I'll get there. I'll found my answers,

I'll discover them in
my onrush, in
my guide, I'll find my
sake of living

And thereupon I'll live, I will continue to live and
to expect.

Because a man, without the hope
is not a man.

Painted Lines

I'm looking
for my reflection
in the shine of painted
crosswalk lines
and with every
changing
glow of the stoplight
my hope is growing
weary. I'm not
giving in
but I swear to you
New York is not the only place they
rebel
against the flash of a lighted
hand.
I was built to find
and call
a far more unconventional
place home
but until I finally have the chance
to run across this
reckless street
I'll try to find
something worthwhile
in what's left of these
plastic
paint lines.

Kurt Cobain said
It is better to burn out then fade away
And that really stuck with me
Because its hard to make an impact in a world
Where we are taught everyone is special
Which of course means tat none of us are
A world where freedom
Means dropping 200 grand on a college
And working 9-5 for the next 45 years
Its really hard to make an impact
In an era where everyone thinks they are an artist, a poet, a star
Carving a niche out for yourself?
Well that's **** near impossible
I think Kurt was right
It is better to go out with a bang
But it is pretty **** hard

Kurt Cobain
Well-known name
Well-known face
Well-known voice
Well-known story
But
Not a well-known soul
A smart,
Intelligent,
Determined,
Self-hating soul
A sad, sad soul
Who's pain and anger and sadness
Caused him to make the most permanent decision
A person can make.

Sometimes you close your eyes,
Hoping for Nirvana

But then you realize
Kurt Cobain shot himself twice:
Once with ******,
Once with a shotgun.

You figure that if
Buddha can't save you,
Who will?

It’s the middle of the day,
and I am drunk. Without a
drop of Alcohol, not a smell
of any Wine. The sense of
being sober completely give
in once I have him in mind.

I’ve found myself miss you a lot today.

I thought I heard the gunfire,
the deep crack on his smile, I
thought I saw it, when the
bullet took the temperature
away from him, I can feel,
my earth is crashing down.

You’re the best dream I’ve ever had.

Be not afraid of the Death, he
said, we’re born to be ruined.
They would curse you for the
leaving, but what can they do
– to **** you again after you died?
He grined, with tears in his eyes.

Contagious, contagious, contagious
I am writing a Series Poetry about " the 27 Club " people.

And of all, Kurt Cobain is the one I feel Connected the most.
