Just
No finer purity
Standing in the sunny grass
I hold a small posy of yellow flowers
Off to seek my fortune in the spring of my life
Open eyes, half-smiling and shy, this is my whole world.

Fotograf Printanier.

A beautiful snapshot of my son (then aged 4-5 years) in our overgrown garden, exploring the joys of insects and vegetation.

He is so lovely and very inquisitive, always full of questions, half of which I find myself unable to answer!

1.
I have in my fingers
A blade of grass
For company.

2.
Nature helps the mind to see
How things change all the time.

Yes, I should welcome change more readily.

3.
It's just.....

It's just the secrets you keep all hid
From me
From us.

Like a new toy
You don't wanna share.

That,
I can't stand.

4.
Ever the near-invisible threads... barely touching
The outstretched branches show
So much.

Oh, how Nature plans
Yet
Accommodating

All.

5.
Ants and insects scurry along their busy path
Oblivious to the fray
Unseen by human eye.

Petals blossom, open eyes
In the the middle of the desert.

Perched high on treetops
Shiny leaves, nests nearby
Boast depth of intricacy and
Delicate motif.

Yet....

6.
Canst thee be content, also
To see also thorns upon thy path?

For, it's the background of it all
Which helps prepare our reading
Of some (hard) things we discover
Along the way.

7.
Why, naturally.

S T, 10 April 2013
Notes:

Why, none really.

Just...xerophytes can last very LONG!
(I am very encouraged by this :)

Yet, every single leaf which falls.....there's immense beauty in phases. Just takes some adjusting to the rhythm of life.

Life imposes nothing.
Just breathe.

Tides'll turn, tides'll turn......

Ps. And smile, man!

Yeah, going on a night ride with you-ooh
Going on a night ride
Going on a ni-ight  ri-ide
Going on a night ride...with you.

Flying away into the night
Feeling the wind in my hair
Watching your eyes shine...
Watching your eyes shine....
Watching your eyes shine in the moonlight.

Floating on warm thoughts of you.

dream, dream, dream . . . really?

The coattails of the dream-weaver

up
tired
alone
drowsy
now I see
stand over me
hover above my eyes
wait and watch my lids fall
cast a silent spell of smoky tendrils
strut your presence deep in my psyche
piercing eyes sear the depths of chambers
along the edge of sleep, dance fanciful figures
almost tripping over their feet, in aching frenzy to find
that reach which cascades, dangles all along the lip of reason

all along the lip of reason, all along the lip of reason, the lip of reason

leaving the cusp of awareness, venture below this vague surface
fall airless over rim of closed awakeness, thoughts dying slow
cocooned on soft wisp of dreamy shores, I float
yonder hills beckon so gentle and pastoral
welcoming arms wave on sunny dale
seeming to envelop all fears
offer to swallow dark pain
dissolve mal aches
promise peace
echo love
ride joy
see u
hope
dip

until I get there . . .

(refracted dust)

sullen eyes greet my unopened eyes, yet I see all in my dream
all the answers come flooding; time-frame out of warp
you are just a dire apparition,
you tell me in my dream to stick out my tongue
and I freakin' do it, because I believe in your words
crash!
you drop a ten-pound hammer onto it.

no field of flowers saluting with merry faces
none of jolly smiles
just a knife-wielder, vicious in intent . . .
waiting on nervous springs, for my next move
chasing . . . a fugitive in my own blasted dream
oh heavens, when then is relief?

thus
such vain bidding adieu to impervious dreams.

**** u, dream-weaver!
what a hopeless battle to hold onto the coattails of the dream-weaver
lose my grasp and slide off
slip away

burn AWAKE, cold sweat like fat beads the only proof of the onslaught of a ride with you . . . and the journey's reward?

oh, I can't remember . . .

oh!
and . . . sweet dreams to you, dream-weaver
I'll come visit you tonight . . . in your dreams!

Out on the open sea.

Sails harness pure and open wind energy
See 'em flap this way and that-a way.

Sweet ride forever on, safely on to harbour
Oh boy, are we havin' some ssssswell fun..or what!

Sub-entry: ‘ONLY YESTERDAY’ - Carpenters

Songwriters: CARPENTER, Richard Lynn / BETTIS, John

After long enough of being alone
Everyone must face their share of loneliness
In my own time nobody knew
The pain I was goin' through
And waitin' was all my heart could do

Hope was all I had until you came
Maybe you can't see how much you mean to me
You were the dawn breaking the night
The promise of morning light
Filling the world surrounding me

When I hold you
(*) Baby, Baby
Feels like maybe things will be all right
Baby, Baby
Your love's made me
Free as a song singin' forever

(**) Only yesterday when I was sad
And I was lonely
You showed me the way to leave
The past and all its tears behind me

Tomorrow may be even brighter than today
Since I threw my sadness away
Only Yesterday

I have found my home here in your arms
Nowhere else on earth I'd really rather be
Life waits for us
Share it with me

The best is about to be
So much is left for us to see
When I hold you.

Are you there for me?
Are you calling me?
So, are you there for me?
Will you wait for me?

Will you welcome me?
Yes, will you welcome me?
Oh, will you welcome me-ee-ee-EEE?

Will you please guide me to the Light?
Help me emerge.....
Oh, let me not melt away (into darkness)
Shake off the shackles, shake off the shackles!

Chorus:
Let beauty and Light suffuse my being
For I'm really so tired.......of the pain.

No more tears. No more pain.
No need anymore.

No more suffering. No more judgement.
No need anymore (for anything).

No need to worry. No more cold words.
No more swallowing.
No need anymore.

I can see the sun in your eyes
As a beacon to the Lost.
Near the edge of eternal cliff, oh-oh-oh
Be my Lighthouse, be my Lighthouse!    ...repeat chorus

Refrain:
Am I willing this time, to step out?
Am I ready to go all the way-ay?

Have you been helping me?
Oh, have you been helping me-ee-ee-EEE?

Who's gonna hold my hand
When the coldness sets in?
For I'm really so tired.....
Oh, no-o-o-oh!          ......repeat chorus

So, are you there for me?
Are you calling me?
Oh, are you there for me?
Will you wait for me?

Will you welcome me?
Yes, will you welcome me?
Oh, will you welcome me.......?

to be
or
not to be...

he stands at the lamppost, screened from view
evening light slopes across the street
and cuts an oblong square of light
from the *Hotel de Ville
lobby-entrance.

she wonders who he is, standing there so
almost melding into post, his nondescript shadow sidling alongside
while early eve strolls through Le Parc des Céléstins
steady presence, half but not quite menacing.

he gazes down at his silhouette, Gauloise alit
and it, in turn, looks into the kerb...or up at him...
he turns his head up slowly, hazy wisps
as bewilderment draws reredos.

she hears footsteps clack across the parquet floor
as someone leaves the rez-de-chaussée
she wonders what he wants; why he stands there
who he waits for; and why so long.....

she can never see his face, ponders much on this
she longs to understand, yet feels afraid
as if she's seen that shade before, across the road
moving slowly, as the hours steal away...

visible from her second floor, she eyes
daddy-long legged limbs and dangly shapes
he has merely wandered into his past
seeking only the one he hopes to find.

traveled so far and sought so wide
crossed oceans, traversed treacherous terrain
perseverance the clutch word of the day
only to linger long to recover dashed prize.

later, as she peers into the heavy night
from windows shut, all her eyes can pierce
are nought but empty shadows 'neath that solitary lamp post
seems the mist carried off her spectral fear.... as well.

or...

did it?

Breathing's sure a burden at times.

Heart is still beating
You can hear it pounding in your ears.

But you're not breathing
You just feel release in your head.

Refrain:

Wanna feel that way again

on windy plains
flattened panels beneath tight-pressed scarves, they stand
on the edge of the highway
seeking the last streaks of eve's sun
bodies on windy plains where, in the lap of poverty, kids play and listen
the ***** little words mothers spill
a hapless world in flats steep, laundry billows on higher
than most dreams can possibly reach

1.
song to be sung, yet youth's golden mouth swift-ripped away
by hungry-crones topped in white hats and over-spiffed lines
poor boy couldn't hold it together, they fell apart
scatter the crowd in fold-up chairs to make it look less empty
spread the tea-garden in the hall, circulate those tiny packets
so much **** noise, is that all we waited for?

revolutions were built on disparity's hand ****** in the face of the poor
pity the drug of current day keeps all so well glued to the system
somebody wise once said that royalty awards knighthood
                                                *exactly for the same reason

to keep gentry where they are seen fit to belong: below
                                                                              the swirl of understanding
so, there won't be enough cake for everyone.

2.
when saviours ring in the new, for a short while
and new heads bring down the old names
and gut the bastions of the past
surely, when we destroy the ugly parts of history, we conceal truth
with pompous new plaques and road names for petty achievers
even bad press is held up as recognition these days
and too many are numbed, hopelessly foiled by the feed
peck, peck.. nice, little chikken
(mind stuffed with trash, mouthpiece occupied)

some content to catch a few crumbs on the way down
while others tread lightly on their way out the back exit
the more we so blindly buy into the whole mess
the less we see the big pic
                           (the real one)
nebulous covers the screen so well: away from organic life
life on a farm, growing your own stuff
       needing less of plug-in
       more of play
I steadily tire of the filthy streams we're led to wade in
thick and viscous with the stench of decay
and no way out but the meeting with barbed-wire walls

oh, for days of simple pleasures.. walking in the park
swinging high into the blue sky

with eyes on the rim of the planet
a ten-cents pineapple-popsicle
and no fear of the unknown
but beautiful discoveries, good and not-so-good

now, a man will die in the hands of a stranger's care
at the mercy of their kin's timetable
busy, busy, busy.. loved ones moving on
ah, no time to enjoy a tot, some oenomel.

3.
say, God.. you got a moment? I'd like to address a grievance or two
are we forgetting what you told us?
what was it again -- on the day, we tried to understand your identity
in a tongue this world's memory suffered lapse
there was a time we understood your meaning
today, I hear your voice in the rustle out my meadow
right here
in the green leaves

I think I can hear you right
loving your remembrances.

*silent anger brews in the streets, common folk took enough
tired of threats and crumbs left by chunks others gorged on
retaliatory mountains grow, a surge in march
a touch too late to retract some acts.. for haste & judgment hurt
where many struggle to breathe, so hatred cements its template
slowly, time may crumble them to stones, then dust
or hope build a rope from heart's twine
or love blow breezes of care on this fiery circle
faraway, where queens live on ginger cakes and ale
on windy plains.
is there really not enough cake for all?
odd how easily media OVERcrops reality.. perhaps a slice if that pie is bein' filtered down, after all.. who knows.

welllllllllll, perhaps a li'l look-see back into the annals of history to remind us how greed will end in a head-chopping.. or two.

in horror
at the grand-scale daylight-robbery
we allow and DEFEND.. parapum-pum-pum!

there’s a super-cracking inside this geyser

1.
I hold a tree inside my palm
you can’t actually tell where its roots really grow
veins don’t fade easily.. just the eye won’t see it

blackest bull-dogue waits behind the silverfish-caravan
who the heck knows why it waits in saliva’d-chains
but it lurks there, in silent-rancour

one eye flicks inwards and gets inverted
licks at all the flies inside
there’s a buzzing to be *felt
 from miles away

touch-tone insignia keeps calling and calling
screaming off its ugly provided-head
demanding eye-scales which cannot fall

black-stockinged nuns profess utter-diligence to duty
hide their want within the deep-wells of darker-veils
while rosaries are fever-fingered with reverence

keep swinging that twig under my scissored-wishes
you may just miss once
and catch my whirring 'copter-feet

2.
man, if you jump high enough and not fade.. away
you may never have to feel that wicked-thud of landing
one click onto the nebulae and you’re truly home

at the young boy’s feet, they lie
a host of little beings.. not breathing
that jokers cannot understand

as sang in epic-tunes of yore
better to burn out than rust
stay forever young..

reach out with seeker-arms in pin-striped shirt
yes, push mercy down upon its sweet-cheek
and sense the reek of discontent in neat patterns.. waiting to fall
no use looking at poverty crying for a way out as blood runs down its head
tell yourself it’s only paint.. meant for a well-researched lesson on another day

pick up your chair, poet.. and ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnn!!
while feathers fall onto the heads of sinners who sack the fading light

and mind you don’t trip on your way out

Highlighting your *odd

Driftin'.........driftin'......driftin'.......

Oh, liftin'........liftin'......lift us

Carryin'.......carryin'.......carry away....

Ah, Jesus .....

Driftin' on this sea
That nobody can see.....

Come.....come with me......
Let us meet that rising tide
Let us drift away.....
On celestial kites.

High...high....higher

Ah, Jesus
Please.....oh, please

Tides away on a kite
Take this filter, baby
You can't cut smoke
So, float along....on celestial kites.

Take it in, **** it in
Wait, wait, not so deep
There, easy does the trick now
Now, we can sail away again....

I will be your exquisite poesy
You can eat me, all you want
Yes, I'm your intense poem, take me
Absorb the tides in me....

You float my boat up in the sky
My beautiful buoy, you are
Hover gentle over me
Look kind into my eyes......

Hang me in the sky
And peg your love on me
Lay me on the moon
And pierce my mind with stars....

Plop me on a nimbus cloud
Nay, I will not fall through
Forsooth, I'll sail on wind and gale
To catch that kite to you!

How I long for that box to open
Oh, do lemme out! I smell the breeze....
I'll die sweetly, perchance
To be on your celestial kite.

Leave me not sodden and sick
Let's fly high on celestial kites
Where angels pray to kiss
These high skies no-one kens.

Ah, Jesus....

Let me not die bereft of hope
To drift away...... with you.....
Ah.......to snag that tail-end ribbon
And hail this ride on your kite!

Only Angel

Don't you run away;
You're running from your only saviour
Don't you know you're looking into the eyes
Of the only angel on your road?

This is the only time;
You gotta find your light on your way
You're never, no, you're never...
Never gonna find another angel on your road.

Baby, don't you know you're turning away from the Light
You're never gonna have this chance no more
Don't you know you're looking into the eyes
Oh G-d, you gotta move that bad from your door!

Don't you turn away;
Don't you go on spitting
In the face of an angel
Never gonna find another angel in your road

Refrain (spoken):

May the Light shine in any dark corner of your heart
And banish all negative, weak thoughts.

May your steps still be ever-so gentle
On the sometimes tricky path of life.

Seek not always activity to stop the gaps
They are the breathing spaces meant for peace and inner dwelling.

Water your little flowers on the arid plain of Life
For I see them blossom in your eyes.

It's hard to fix a broken road
So step out and carve out a new way.

Feel. Really feel the pain and chase it not.
It is not the foe, just a momentary spot of too-bright light.

The real enemy sits in your midst
Lingers on your fears and blots out your sun.....

It is thought.
Too much of it can **** a man!

Mind you keep the untame drivel well clear of your heart
Lest you wish a choking visit.

Be real with yourself
And be kinder to your spirit.

Battle not too sore with the winds
As your silver light shows you the way to a purer, clearer life.

May the stars of tranquil dawn usher calm
And soothe your battered soul.

Ask not for obstacles to be removed
They are for learning and teaching; progress.

Pray instead for safety, health and dignity
And hang onto that necklace of peace.

True amity is such that having never yet met
We can embrace in kindred spirit.

Have the heart to welcome a stranded soul
And spare anyone lame excuses.

Lessons await you patiently
Neglect none; accept or pay dear.

Take time to discover yet....the REAL you.
Enlightenment is tough work!

Peace to you, dear friend.

Och, you and your divine shape
How beautiful you are to me

You drive me wild with want
I simply cannot master you!

You are oft'times hard to get
But nary shall I quit you

Tune my heartstrings up a notch
Fret forever, I try to get it right

You quiver exquisite at my touch
A ravishing delight to my ravenous senses

Would you GIVE a STAR for my attempts
Don't over tease my nerves to distraction!

I slave intense o'er you, day and night
Yes, you're the one with the hold on me

Look at the inevitable shape I'm in
All 'cause-a you and your curvy shape!

The airline broke your sister's neck
Yah mon, I cried, mah Lord. I all but died, ha!

Caught in a quagmire of deep distress
You, my comely cutaway, pegged me up again.

Love to cradle you on my eager lap
My arms around in close embrace

A gentle, organic creature, such as you
I dare not grip you hard at all.

My fingertips so acquainted with your girth
Your rosette rings out my notes with charm.

Enchanting me with deep nuance
Without trying, she pleases so!

The sole bridge 'tween the world and me
My subtle love, only my Valencia.....

sailing on the blue-sea
sailing unknown-beauty..

1.
the seas laugh in raucous-hacks
as the waves cough up the corpses of my dreams
at my feet, they come in from the swell of tides
seeming no more than
                    spongy sea-**** with sun-skin points
bloated fish who didn't make it
                    swollen seals with child

and the blue-boy on the whale's back
confident-smiles draped upon his demeanour
               like a well-worn cloak of old-comfort
soft and velvety secrets hide inside the folds
of his true-age and pure-soul

nobody would believe
how many trips he had to make
to get to this shore
how many deaths he had to live through
to understand the purpose
how many tears he saw shedding
of nature's total-patience
             how many of so much..

2.
on the back of a whale
he traverses the width of seas
                      the span of lands
                      the points of stars
                      the truth of man
and he grieves the piteous-souls whose backs break
so hard
on the interminable-wheel of penitence
turning and grinding
                      grinding
                      grinding..
always bent upon that gauntlet-grind
if they but knew how futile the turn..
carrying loads of mercy and goodness
only to see it seep out wounds ere journey's end

3.
cruel deified-laughter exists not
at man's readiness to crucify hope
with such four-square certainty
that redemption lies in suffering..

oh no..

4.
faint sounds of laughter on a broad-coast
whose sands give way to shy-dossiers
of nature's confidence
in the evening sun
secrets that I neglected to see.. first time round
have I failed myself.. ?
(but not again)

when awareness taps one on the shoulder,
is it not utter-folly to turn one's back on resplendence
that all the leaves and seas are willing to share?

Have you found your heart
Hidden in a box?
Open up your eyes
Please, open up your eyes.

And reach into your soul
The petals are your tears
Oh, why don't you know?
Why don't you know-oh-oh-oh . . . .

That days are not real
It's all in yer mind
I really wished you knew.
Oh, how I wished you knew.

Refrain:
Open up your heart
Reach into your soul
Open up your heart
Open up your heart . . . .

Do you have an open heart?
Yes, you have an open heart!
Take in the Light . . . .

Have you found your peace?
Free it in the wind
Oh, just let it go . . . .
Just let it go!

Have you sent the autumn leaves
Can you count them all?
Oh, why don't see?
Why...don't you see......

Open up your heart

sub-entry: 'I'm So Tired'  - Lennon / McCartney

I'm so tired, I haven't slept a wink
I'm so tired, my mind is on the blink
I wonder should I get up and fix myself a drink
No,no,no.

I'm so tired I don't know what to do
I'm so tired my mind is set on you
I wonder should I call you but I know what you would do

You'd say I'm putting you on
But it's no joke, it's doing me harm
You know I can't sleep, I can't stop my brain
You know it's three weeks, I'm going insane
You know I'd give you everything I've got
for a little peace of mind

I'm so tired, I'm feeling so upset
Although I'm so tired I'll have another cigarette
And curse Sir Walter Raleigh
He was such a stupid ***.

You'd say I'm putting you on
But it's no joke, it's doing me harm
You know I can't sleep, I can't stop my brain
You know it's three weeks, I'm going insane

I died before I was born
And I cried when you slipped away....

Chorus:
We didn't know it, but we felt it
We didn't know, yet we felt it
We didn't know it, then we felt it
And when we felt it, then we knew
Oh, we knew
Yes, we knew....

Let's slip outta this time, back into the collective
Let's slip outta this time, back into the colle-ective!

So long ago, together in the nebulae
Had we passed each other then, bonding in spirit?
'Cause I felt myself dying, when you were born
When you slipped out of the conscious collective.....into the human race.

Refrain:
Here, where there's no time, but when it came
There came the wait...oh, and the weight
For, in slipping out of the collective, distracting the soul
You slipped away from me, till we met again.

And so, we're no longer out of the collective....

Softly, in the dusk, a woman is singing to me;
Taking me back down the vista of years, till I see
A child sitting under the piano, in the boom of the tingling strings
And pressing the small, poised feet of a mother who smiles as she sings.

In spite of myself, the insidious mastery of song
Betrays me back, till the heart of me weeps to belong
To the old Sunday evenings at home, with winter outside
And hymns in the cosy parlour, the tinkling piano our guide.

So now it is vain for the singer to burst into clamour
With the great black piano appassionato. The glamour
Of childish days is upon me, my manhood is cast
Down in the flood of remembrance, I weep like a child for the past.
D. H. (David Herbert) Lawrence
1885–1930

English writer D.H. Lawrence’s prolific and diverse output included novels, short stories, poems, plays, essays, travel books, paintings, translations, and literary criticism. His collected works represent an extended reflection upon the dehumanizing effects of modernity and industrialization.
In them, Lawrence confronts issues relating to emotional health and vitality, spontaneity, human sexuality and instinct. After a brief foray into formal poetics in his early years, his later poems embrace organic attempts to capture emotion through free verse.

Lawrence's opinions earned him many enemies and he endured official persecution, censorship, and misrepresentation of his creative work throughout the second half of his life, much of which he spent in a voluntary exile he called his “savage pilgrimage.”
At the time of his death, his public reputation was that of a pornographer who had wasted his considerable talents. E. M. Forster, in an obituary notice, challenged this widely held view, describing him as, “The greatest imaginative novelist of our generation.”
Later, the influential Cambridge critic F. R. Leavis championed both his artistic integrity and his moral seriousness, placing much of Lawrence's fiction within the canonical “great tradition” of the English novel.

And what they do to you
What are we coming to?

Blame it on the black star
Blame it on the falling sky
Blame it on the satellite that beams me home

The troubled words of a troubled mind
I try to understand what is eating you
I try to stay awake but its

Blame it on the black star
Blame it on the falling sky
Blame it on the satellite that beams me home

About now that I don't think of you
I keep falling over

feel that deep humming of the car, as we finally decide to roll along that country ride.....yesterday saturn-day :)

redemption humbly sought in the passing of hills and vales

lovely...all along the eastern escarpment of the beautiful Mercy-Valley...not far from Lake Great Bear on southern Jupiter :)

yet evening cold can sink so hard and fast in the countryside (best be prepared :)

away from all the noise and bustle - rolling, green dales and oh blue, blue, blue....

sub-entry:

'sudden cold'

1.
how dreaded that sudden coldness
press downward
crouch tight upon shoulder
drape your chilly cape over me
clench your claws into soft flesh
hover abrupt around nostrils
whisper icy whittler-words
sinking into pores, settle on
pinched nose-end, fingertips and toes
from across the chasm, silent eyes admonish
burning freeze stick so hard
hug disfavoured hart

oh cold silence, how you **** me!

2.
envelops round me
try in vain to wrap my head around this

warm heart
take this thing and throw it in the dump

(can't
just can't)

3.
blanket of love
whopping oblivion away

seek still
to redeem.

From a pavement bistro, enjoying an alcove espresso and jam scone
After fresh rains, scenic smiles yet the road is of red sand
Young children play ball in park adjacent, some teen skaters pass by
Skirt-tugger hangs on for dear life, while she perambulates the baby.

The little, old man places with care, two stones behind his back wheels
His car stuck on the muddy, wet road
A small, slow push by stranger passing; it rolls easily from soft, red ruts
A wave of thanks, a friendly smile and off he goes.

Anna steps in ruddy hope, septuagenarian in jaunty hat and Sunday best
Ready to meet the one of a lifetime, widow of a decade
Correspondence long-time with namaste-man, final reward
Ribcage busy, beat in mouth, eyes flit eagerly, hearty salutes.

But nobody knows that someone is being watched,
From across the distance of the park, a clutch of strangers
Their beady eyes, hooded expressions, they wait
Fate is sealed when car drives by; irrevocably red.

So, sunshine fled this morn.

There are other people in this tale too, but I can't remember too much of them.

Work of fiction.

I'll reach that midnight train first
A surreal journey, too uncanny
Wonder how the heck I got here
All *******, yet sought release . . . .

So many passages, so many trails
I follow you down every ambiguous path
Oh dear, will I get lost in this?
In which warren will I find you hiding?

I tie tape across your red mouth
Make you walk an unsteady plank
Across a deep chasm of unknown
Don't slip now or dare scream out!

In glass, reflected in the sun
You look at me and smile oh-so sweet
But refracted light splits up and breaks
Now you think I'm someone else . . . .

Am getting off this Roundabout
Too draining for my psyche
Ah, shoulda figured the universe owes me
A massive kick in the teeth, alas!

You're makin' jam, and I'm so nuts 'bout you
We are sandwiched together, just you and me
But small consolation prize....is all you see
Bicycle has TWO wheels, for a reason!

You want me to stop.
As you stand, hands tied behind your back.
As i stand so so close to you, would you look away . . . .
Would you want me to stop?   Ok. I'll stop . . . . no, please!

Shhh, now now....easy now....hush, baby
Think I'll stuff yer ******* into your mouth
And fire away the ready rockets inside you
Come, baby....please feel what's in my pocket . . . .

See through the window of your soul
Don't fret now, I won't judge at all
Come closer, let me feel your heat
You're giving just what I need right now.

I'm making you feel all kindsa things
Yet you fear to utter what they are
So scared you are, I wonder why
Oi, no running in the hallways here!

Clouds at last, I see you now
Oh, the pretty pictures that you paint
On the waiting canvass of my thoughts
In such bright and vivid repartee.

Can you feel me, baby? Here I am...
Heavy love hanging in the late hours
Feel me now...I know you can feel me
Slide my sword into your sheath . . . .

See you peep still through the window of my mind
Nose pressed against the glass
Lucky to live half a lifetime in an afternoon
We leave soft, grey messages in the sand.

Still wonder how we ever got here
You're so open and so giving
Loved ones often kick a gift horse down
They see not wonders of the gem, all hid.

So, I have a thing I want to know
Now, what is it you really want?
Cos, you were once in love; so deeply fooled
Carried away by reflections in a glass . . . .

springtime colours to come sliding in soon
do psyched answers lie in tea-leaves or spider’s crawl?

stacked flood-gates may render sight unwaxed
running headlong with rib-cage open . . .

perhaps remission lands on tattoo’d bravado
inverse-faced yields paxity  . . . dolce-lento*

Sweet, rainy day . . .
silent downpour . . .
single act . . .
sigh, wishes do come true 

Sub-entry: See Emily Play
Songwriters: SYD BARRETT

Emily tries but misunderstands, ah ooh
She often inclined to borrow somebody's dreams till tomorrow
There is no other day
Let's try it another way
You'll lose your mind and play
Free games for May
See Emily play

Soon after dark Emily cries, ah ooh
Gazing through trees in sorrow hardly a sound till tomorrow
There is no other day
Let's try it another way
You'll lose your mind and play
Free games for May
See Emily play

Put on a gown that touches the ground, ah ooh
Float on a river forever and ever, Emily
There is no other day
Let's try it another way
You'll lose your mind and play
Free games for May
See Emily play

V1
Oh, how the moon shines on me tonight
Always needin' some stimuli
Gettin' used to it, you say to me
Just another life under the stars.

Chorus
Love to ride the see-saw
Yes, love to ride the see-ee-saw
You love to ride the see-saw
Up, down....up, down.....
Up, down....oh up, down.

Rode it many times
Always get away
Always flying high in the sky to lo-o-ve!

V2
Tomorrow, we ride the rhythm of another wave
Lying, facing each other, so close
Silently staring into each other's eyes
Nothing said, 'cos words fail soooo bad! CHORUS

V3
Listening out so well for your steps
Don't be such a fool, it's only a car
Kiss your feet and touch your heart
We need to ride our chakra together.

Chorus
Love to ride the see-saw
Yes, love to ride the see-ee-saw
You love to ride the see-saw.

Up, down....up, down.....
Up, down....oh up, down.
Rode it many times
Always get away
Always flying high in the sky to love.

Written many years ago....

Just a silly ditty, is all :)
st64 Mar 2013
Ring-a-ring-o' Ruth, goin' round and round.....

Ring-a-ring-o' Ruth, goin' round and round

She dare not lose it, but she couldn't keep it
Not anymore
No, not anymore!

For the rings of Ruth
The one she wears, oh!
They keep her in her place
He keeps her mind in place.........

Dare not spill your red treasure on his floor
Oh poor woman, watch your step
Contain yourself...........

Daren't let him in, oh Ruth
No, daren't let him in, uh-oh Ruthie
Why lug around his le-ga-cy in your mind?
Of relentless rings of insanity.....goin' round and round.......

Ring-a-ring-o' Ruth, goin' round and round

Come on home, dear Ruth and flush 'em fears away
Watching you, my Ruth, I can see you from afar
Won't hurt you anymore, won't make you run away
Your heart will sing the Truth that the sands of Time will veil.

So, come on home, dear Ruth
Come home......
Come home!
