WAR FOR PEACE
sparX Kuijper Jun 2017
Breath of fire , skin in smoke
War's desire , life to choke
Hands on embers , knees on coal
Toes in tinder , eyes on shoal
Crawling forward , falling back
Struggles over , now Attack

The Dark Corner
sparX Kuijper Dec 2015
On my side of the room
It's my size of the moon
It's my place to hide
In my guitar,
In my cage.

In my home ; I work and I play
I live but am not alive
In my side of the room.

There's the T.V.
There's the radio playing
My friend is complaining
And the innocence has burnt into the wall.

The clock clicked it's camera
And the wall did whisper,
"What are you doing ; Alone child ,
In my side of the room?"

On my side of the room
I'm the sailor of my cigarettes
I'm the king in my deck of cards
And Beetle Bailey has
Walked the seven seas
But the ocean's overflown.

When it's visiting time : Tea time
It's then when I wake up , shape up
And the wall did whisper,
"What are you doing , Alone Child ,
On my side of the moon?"

You were searching in the skies
While I was out in space
The last starship "The Disguise"
It's launch pad now in place
The planets hold no secrets from us
Our galaxy , our home
Leaving behind aerodromes
Near the advancing sea
Flooding ancient catacombs
Earth regains custody
All creatures hold the grudge against us
Yet , sad to see you go
I can see them watching, as you look down once more
They're opening the cosmic window
As we're closing the astral door
I can't help but shed a tear
As you're coming up to me
Now our path seems not as clear
As immortality
So our planets hold no secrets from us
Our tragedy once more
We'll transplant our generations
As we've always done before
Perhaps if we do things differently
Then again, I guess, I suppose
Plus ça change , plus c'est la même chose

Soft stones

Taught thought in time slot
Crime line held to pine
Worst thirst never first
"All is well." they say
Yet earth is hell today
Mill bill not a thrill
Moat vote gets the boat
Fair air very rare
Pretty as the peaches
More polluted beaches
Who knew what to do
The whole show will not go
Fine lined but is it signed
Where is Earth decadent
Now who will  represent
To put it in a nutshell
Earth has truly gone to hell

I met a man at the top of my stair .
The man I met wasn't there .
He wasn't there there again today .
I wish that man would go away .
Not at all my work: But, always bears repeating .

Somewhere the theories hold true .
Only , in random spaces .
Murky bog of the bayou ;

We are Dreams
sparX Kuijper Sep 2015
We are dreams in the mirrors of our minds ,
Where all the strange ones are the kinds .
No one can tell our stories .
No one can feel our glories unfold .
Behold the mystery of our race ;
The etchings of time mocks the pace .
In our years ; in our fears
And in our mortal tears :
We are dreams in the mirrors of our minds .
A day or more can reveal the score
But change will never stand still .
In our years and in our fears ;
Our past : we shall never **** .
The future comes to show it's brawn ,
While in the present , the game's playing on .
And when , in the end , our final light shines ;
We are just dreams in the mirrors of our minds .

I HEARD SOMEONE CRYING
             INSIDE HIMSELF
I FELT SOMEONE SCREAM
             OUTSIDE THE DOOR
HE HEARD ME CALLING
             HE FELT ME FALLING
                           NEVER MORE

Standing Fast.

Staying still in wonderment
Having nothing to say
The creature's punishment
Is carried out today .

The days are long
And you struggle not to fight
While you sing this song
On your never ending flight .

You should have known , you shouldn't have
Broken away from the sun .
You could have known , you couldn't have
Been the only one .
Now that that's your only fright
It's all on your never ending flight .

Songs are sung , the spell is cast .
You are young and mine at last .
The world will turn , you shall see .
The snow will burn and the free .

Find the sun if you can .
   Will they know we exist
     Or will there be any
To know at all ?  When we come back
If we do leave at all .
Will we cry and kiss the soil
Or will they forbid us entrance ?
If they do forbid our coming ,
I fear they do know who we are
   And once again we'll seek a star ;
On which we'll place our weary flesh .
New time and space and skies afresh .

The hats are hung ; atomic blasts .
Where our young arise in flasks .
Our worlds will turn , you shall soon see .
We're sure to learn or we'll not be .

We were  delivered by the gods of the white coats.
I was chromosome X and Y of the prise goats.
I've been thinking nowadays
Is it better in some ways
To be in our superior race.
To see and hear without our own face.
The city
Is pretty
And gritty.
So witty ,
Have pity on us clones.
We've all practiced our functions.
We're all lingered at junctions ...
For such a long time.
We're tired , so run down , recharge uss orr  weee''llll    diiiieeee

The Fear
sparX Kuijper Sep 2015
Shed no tear for the fear.
Ingnite the fire within.
Dig the grave to hour near,
Deep route a timeglass grin.
  Now congure your error
And so fine is the beast!
  Grant it's act of terror
Be with your final feast.

  Away with sanity.
The will is just to live,
  For liing vanity
Has only itself to give.
  The creatures of evil
Show their faces at last.
  They'll paint at your easel
A block from long past.

  They bring no quick demise.
They'll lessen self portrait.
Scream not of 'hows' nor 'whys'.
Let your mind rush or wait.
  Senses perceive the pain,
Play you well or  just  fair,
  The reward in this game
Is a breath of more air.

  Panicked glance behind you.
Nightmares raise their dead
  Threatening to persue
Deep within your bed.
  You know fright has prevailed.
Whispers heard loud and clear,
To tell you that you've failed.
You've lost your soul to the fear.
