There is a boy,
An average boy really,
Black hair and brown eyes
You would also think, he also had an average soul
Just a plain normal soul

He didn't.
He was extrordinary
Not because of his looks
Or his voice
But for the mytery his smile holds
A smile that you will never quite know
Because that smile
Holds millions of secrets

Waiting to be,
Discovered.

I keep craving for a love as big as the moon
And as deep as your eyes
But I can't find the love I really want,
The love I really need
Instead,
I find love in days, and nights,
And love in people i've never met
And love in a quiet place where nobody speaks.

I find love in dark places, late at night
Where I am my only friend.

I wrapped my heart with yellow paper,
and put it in a box.
and wrote a letter to go with it.
A few tears stained the paper,
along with my messy handwriting.
I sent it to your home,
when you saw the package outside your door,
you left it there.
The package waited there all winter,
snow covered my heart,
and it became fragile,
and cold.

Not even the long walks on the burning sand,
or a big blanket made my heart
warm.

I knew I have felt love
when I watched your eyes
Stare at the big painting
Your head was tilted
and your eyes were starving for more

you smiled,
with that kind of smile,
that keeps you expecting more,
craving, desiring,
for more.

at 2:00 a.m.
your tears and the little circles underneath your eyes
are your only friends
and the moon that laughs at you
in that crooked smile
laughing at how miserable you are
and how small you feel
makes it all feel a little bit worse

under all of those sheets in your bed
you can't hide forever
but it is the only thing that keeps you warm
but that doesn't keep you from crying
again, and again
you are left with the moon
and her crooked smile
