Scars

(free verse)
Where are the word's i love to hear?
where are the song's i love to sing?
where are the dance i love to dance?
now that your gone, they don't exist

Where are the foods i love to eat?
where are the clothes i love to wear?
where is the place i love the most?
now that your gone, i lost interest

But, hey where are you?
you left me hanging,
you left scars that makes my heart ache,
scars that only yourself can remove.

Nightmare

Everything seems to be dark for you
Ever since you knew that his feelings weren't true
Can't stop thingking what you have done
But what else can you do, he's already gone

Memories that are now broken into pieces
Every time you walk in those places
Places where you tell him all your corny jokes
And places where you tease him with your nonstop pokes

He broke your heart and you ask him why
Now you have nothing to do but cry
Asking yourself, "why did he leave me in despair?"
Suddenly you realize that he's your worst nightmare

Infatuation

It's happening again.
The butterflies in my stomach
Are spreading their wings,
And taking flight from within.
Even though we're friends
I don't know if this feeling
Is ever going to end
I want you, and only you

I don't know how to say this
But I'm completely intoxicated
By everything that makes...
Who you are.
The only way i see it

Is to suppress all of these feelings
Put it on a box
And lock it away for safekeeping
Throw the key away
Hoping to forget this infatuation.

Almost

The saddest word
In the whole wide world
Is the word almost

He was almost in love
She was almost good for him
He almost stopped her
She almost waited
He almost lived
They almost made it

Sudden changed

And then all of a sudden
She changed.
She came back a completely different person with a new mindset,
A new outlook, a new soul
The girl that was cared way to much
About everyone and everything
No longer cared at all.

Fake people; fake smiles
Fake moments; fake gestures

Alone in the darkness
Don't know where to go
Sick of fakeness
