Wearing a mask is the new normal
Or is it?
Don't we all wear invisible masks everyday?
Hiding our true emotions
Putting on some kind of pretence
Concealing pain behind a smile
Heartbreak and agony behind the expression of moving on
The mask I wear now when going out is merely a physical one
I've been wearing that invisible mask for as long as i can remember

I can see just the one solitary star in the sky tonight
Perhaps it wanted some time alone with the moon
I wonder what they both might be talking about...
