A teardrop from a woman's eye,
contains a magic so immense,
to shake the stars out from the sky.

A man may unceasingly try
yet fail to match one as intense--
a teardrop from a woman's eye.

It matters not if truth or lie,
once one among the men is sensed
it shakes the stars out from the sky,

and men will rage forth low or high
to save the damsel from distress.
A teardrop from a woman's eye,

which can be conjured with a lie,
un-twines sinews of muscled men,
and shakes the stars out from the sky.

Her greatest weapon is to cry
and warriors will jump the fence.
A teardrop from a woman's eye
can shake the stars out from the sky.

For someone who does nothing
but look up to everyone,
his gaze
stays firmly on
the ground.
That girl you know is
a total charmer, but why
would you call me then?

We changed the date the calendars marked.
All of them in bold font.

Two weeks early and a day.
Some came with babies and swollen tummies.
The men all had shaved.

We ate, exchanged, and went our separate ways.
The day left on the calendar remained the same.
That day left open.

Nothing would be open,
except
maybe
Chinese.

Youth was a devil,
tempting us
with promise,
hiding us
from consequence.

Tonight I saw Orion rise,
And chase the Pleiades across the sky,
The North star shone,
To give direction,
Vega offered introspection,
Ursa Major,
Too much to bear,
Gems of creation,
Everywhere,
Regulas rages in blazes of blue,
So beautiful now,
With the waxing moon,
The only star,
That will not shine,
Is the one,
I thought was mine,
But now you're in,
Anothers sky,
Why can't it be mine?
