Through long nursery nights he stood
By my bed unwearying,
Loomed gigantic, formless, queer,
Purring in my haunted ear
That same hideous nightmare thing,
Talking, as he lapped my blood,
In a voice cruel and flat,
Saying for ever, "Cat! ... Cat! ... Cat!..."

That one word was all he said,
That one word through all my sleep,
In monotonous mock despair.
Nonsense may be light as air,
But there's Nonsense that can keep
Horror bristling round the head,
When a voice cruel and flat
Says for ever, "Cat! ... Cat! ... Cat!..."

He had faded, he was gone
Years ago with Nursery Land,
When he leapt on me again
From the clank of a night train,
Overpowered me foot and head,
Lapped my blood, while on and on
The old voice cruel and flat
Says for ever, "Cat! ... Cat! ... Cat!..."

Morphia drowsed, again I lay
In a crater by High Wood:
He was there with straddling legs,
Staring eyes as big as eggs,
Purring as he lapped my blood,
His black bulk darkening the day,
With a voice cruel and flat,
"Cat! ... Cat! ... Cat! ... Cat!..." he said, "Cat! ... Cat!..."

When I'm shot through heart and head,
And there's no choice but to die,
The last word I'll hear, no doubt,
Won't be "Charge!" or "Bomb them out!"
Nor the stretcher-bearer's cry,
"Let that body be, he's dead!"
But a voice cruel and flat
Saying for ever, "Cat! ... Cat! ... Cat!"
Forget the apprehension,
Let your clouded breath hang
On the rearview you see from
Your memories
Move in that direction
As tears
Dangle, restless, longing for solid earth
Dewy, un-coiffed grass
Emblazons today, still
Underneath can be beyond…
Above can be behind…
Shrouded horizon spins unnoticed
And all-encompassing endeavors
Bending light ‘twixt fate’s fingers
Like moments through a color-arch
Acrid rumors, sweat
Spew from our stolid, misshapen bodies
Soaring, metal box with wheels
Over holt, into the harbor
Hence comes the tide;
Hence comes the tide!
Underneath becomes beyond
Above becomes behind!
Anxious melody of air-springing
Pervades the cacophony of living
Can you forget asphyxiation,
So long
As saturated lungs keep breathing?
Blindly swinging at the wall
In front of my face
Although it is behind me, too
One continuous layer of separation
From the world beyond, the world we cannot see
I swing again I swing again
I swing some more
And connect only with absence
From this earth
Absence from reality
Sheltering my worried shaking head
I tear you from me,
I tear me from you
I’m confused
I don’t know where the ceiling is
I don’t know why there’s a sky inside my room
I don’t know why my basement is flooded
With air
Please just take every last breath of
Cyanide
Please just take every last gift
To the poor
Please just take every last effort
To undo your wrongdoing
“Bad times ahead”
And take them with you
When you stop being me
A chemical reaction, that's all it is,
Two people whos chemistry mix, forming a feeling,
Two people, one as appealing to the other,
Appealing as one, together.

The two talk about forever,
But to the other, they were never,
She lived in fear,
She would never be, near.

A thousand broken pieces,
Ripped to shreds by words,
The two went on, each day - worseining,
The sickness over them, reducing her to shards.

The damage can not be undone,
What has been said, has been done,
A thosaund broken pieces make a heart,
Now it's time, to go back to the start...

Angela
I lay here in these shambles
an arm's reach from the door
laying in the jagged pieces of my heart
broken stained glass upon the floor

reflections of red speckles
shimmer on the wall
and I breathe a darken breath
as I grasp the taken fall

I wait for the darkness to come
to hide this shattered heart
to take away the dancing red
for night to play it's part

And if you come back
by morning's light
to perhaps repent

You will find not a trace of me
no lovely moments spent

Nor will you find my shattered heart
none of the pain that you had sent

But, if you are so foolish
to find your way here at night
I will be waiting for you
With a venomous bite

I will take away your sun
Take that beaconing light
I will steal your heartbeat
and replace it with insight

The darkness it would like you
embracing that shallow heart.....
Luna the Moon
Earth's satellite
My, she looks so lovely and bright

She lightens our lands
In her nightly gleam
This heavenly object in orbit dream

She's pitted and scarred
Through eons of hits
But still above us she patiently sits

Her ability to control our oceans and seas
Is quite a feat, considering where she!
To have the grace to invite us to land
To take her rocks and her lunar sands

So if we decide to habitat the Moon
She's the bride and man the groom
This beauty in the sky who shines at night
For millions of years such a wonderful sight
