Spirit shake me of the feelings given by my humanity
They blind me and break me from my grasp on sanity
blend my strengths so that they aren't just physical
I look to build it all into a foundation of greater mentality

Let the tide wash over the sandy shores of my tainted world
part the rocky walls built by all the troubled thoughts I hurled
throw them aside for the house I will make for my family
and with the extra build a path to the dreams I need unfurled

sow my battle scars but don't let them go fully away
because I need to remember what made me today
for I know new cuts and gashes will come from my thrashing
but I won't make the same with the wisdom of my mistakes

Flow from me the music that needs to be sung
spread the message through me of the old wise ones
til the day I am aged and ripe like them

Spin doctor spin
while you try to get within
before you see the faults and foresee flaws
don't break a spirit with the devil's kin

Collect your trophies from the healing of one
while you shine in a fake light, the rest are dying away
So many to count, so sad to say
that you could help as many as you do without the money that you take
