Nothing lasts forever.
We’ve reached our end.
We consumed every beautiful feeling—
and drained each other dry.

I embraced you, flaws and all.
I saw you in your highest light,
and in your darkest storm.
I saw the faces you wore
when you loved me
and when you scared me.

Now I’m a wreckage on the tracks,
and recovery feels impossible.
But I won’t make the same old mistakes.
I won’t commit the same old sins.

I’ll never love the same way again.
I’ll never trust like that again.
And I’ll never let you fool me again.

Yes, I’ll sleep until it all fades.
But I won’t wake up beside you.

I’ll watch the sea in summer—
when the water is impossibly blue.
And I won’t think about what we once did.
I’ll only let it give me hope—
to begin again.
Alone.

I must go far away.
To a place you’ll never find me.

I’m a rootless flower,
floating on the surface of the water,
carried wherever the current dares to take me.

I have no roots,
no ties to anyone.

If I cross paths with you while floating,
we can bloom together—
until the current pulls us toward separate shores.

I won’t mourn you.
I will keep floating,
on my own.

I do not fear the rocks ahead
or the wildness of the tide.

And one day,
you’ll come across another rootless flower—
and you’ll forget
I ever existed.

The moment our bodies pull like magnets,
I’ll wrap my legs around you and draw you in.
We’ll close our eyes and vanish into the pulse of pleasure—
addicts chasing color behind shut lids.
Send me your sins; I am ready for the divine exchange.
This is a form of worship.

Every inch of me is prepared for your reverence.
Gentle touches will give way to rough kisses and bites.
Days will melt into nights,
the moon replacing the sun,
and still, we’ll remain in our chamber—
like fire and gunpowder.

Strike the match.
Set us alight.
I fear no flame,
for burning with you is its own kind of high.
Let me lose all sense of time when I’m with you.

If we are to build a family,
let it be glorious.
Bring your body closer—
let our skin speak in joy,
let our souls dance in the hush between heartbeats.
From our merging,
golden fruit shall blossom.

Will you worship the hips
that cracked open to deliver our children?
They will be the treasure we searched the world to find—
not diamonds,
not pearls,
but the sacred wealth of a home made whole.

I am ready to swim
in this ocean of joy.
Let’s leave the shore behind,
dive deep into the waters
where we will build an empire—
hidden, eternal, ours.

Let me take you there.
Let us thrive.

Let us leave the darkness behind.
Hold my hand—
let your touch give me the strength to take that first step.
I want your soul to meet the healed version of mine—
a brand new me,
one who has shed the past like old skin.
It’s time we finally cherish what we once had.
We never truly understood the value of each other.

Look me in the eye
and tell me you love me.
Let those words revive me.
My heart will stir again,
starving for warmth,
for blood that runs red and real through my veins.

So speak—
say you love me,
and I will awaken.

No need to fast—
drink from me, feed on me.
I am your sustenance—
the water you thirst for,
the air in your lungs.
I am the one who gives you life.

When I first fell in love, I didn’t know I was stepping into the dark.
I never thought the man I loved would be the one to bury me alive.
You killed my dreams one by one,
extinguished the stars I once looked at with hope,
wiped the smile I used to wear so easily.

I wanted cities.
I wanted us tangled beneath wild skies,
with moonlight dripping on our bare skin,
lost in places untouched by time.

But you brought nothing.
No flowers, no joy—just silence and scars.
Maybe you’ll finally bring roses
when I’m rotting in the ground.

Still, you haunt me.
I hate that your touch can still raise goosebumps on my skin.
It’s sick, what you still do to me.

When your hands were on me,
I felt like I was standing at the edge of something holy—
a mountain, a fall,
a fire.

Climb me one last time.
Find the fountain behind the hills.
Drink from it ’til it burns your throat.
I want you choking on what you never deserved.

I am never returning to that good girl—
not for you, nor for anyone.
Once she falls to darkness,
she is lost forever.

No more tears for your memory,
no more waiting awake until dawn,
face stained with salt and regret,
glass in one hand,
your favorite wine in the other—
while my anthem rings loud in defiance.

You never loved the woman I truly was,
never cared for the world that lived inside me.
You never tried to cherish what I held sacred.
I gave all I had—lost myself
in the desperate hope that you’d love this madness.

Are you proud of the ghost you forged?
A vengeful spirit
that will haunt you
until your last breath.

Loving you was a price too high to pay—
I bled and burned and broke.
Now it’s your turn.
Brace yourself for the wrath
of the woman you destroyed.
