Is it measured in coolness
when you hang with the "crew"?
Is it measured by how you all look
when others see you?
Is it measured by unplanned days
hanging out and having fun?
Is it measured in decibels
of laughter in the sun?
Is it measured by phone calls
when you need each other?
Is it measured by the love
that you all hold for one another?
Is friendship measured by strictly tangible means?
Or is it measured by all of these things?
And if by chance, that friend should no longer be near,
would all that it's measured disappear?
