i fell asleep
to the swelling beat
of ****** jealousy
& woke up
to a full cup
of cold love
that we hadn't
spoke of
since we broke up
& now sounds like
a low thud.
rather than
the thunderous
industrious thumping
that your valves
screamed out
when they ******
pumped for something.
spinning around
for days in place
i wake up to a dizzy head
see-saw floors and
dancing doors
surround my swollen bed
the carpet bleeds
under my feet
and swallows all my skin
waltzing bones
and tissue floats
in oceans of my sin
Be reckless with your words to me;
incite, provoke, use words as lips
and teeth and hands and silk restraints.
Press them deep into my skin –
leave marks, leave late, and come again.
Little white love, your way you've taken;
Now I am left alone, alone.
Little white love, my heart's forsaken.
(Whom shall I get by telephone?)
Well do I know there's no returning;
Once you go out, it's done, it's done.
All of my days are gray with yearning.
(Nevertheless, a girl needs fun.)

Little white love, perplexed and weary,
Sadly your banner fluttered down.
Sullen the days, and dreary, dreary.
(Which of the boys is still in town?)
Radiant and sure, you came a-flying;
Puzzled, you left on lagging feet.
Slow in my breast, my heart is dying.
(Nevertheless, a girl must eat.)

Little white love, I hailed you gladly;
Now I must wave you out of sight.
Ah, but you used me badly, badly.
(Who'd like to take me out tonight?)
All of the blundering words I've spoken,
Little white love, forgive, forgive.
Once you went out, my heart fell, broken.
(Nevertheless, a girl must live.)

Unlife
How I write something with the thought that somebody out there
On that there Internet thing
Will read through some ******, four-line stanza and into the complex puzzle
I've pieced together, jamming cornered ends into rounded holes
And botching the image I would like to create with all the wrong pieces.
Sometimes I think,
How many people have read this ****,
Laughed,
And clicked onward?
It's kinda scary. It's kinda funny.
