There's an elephant
in the boardroom
here's the scapegoat.......
in the tearoom.

Someone said to me that great poetry
will happen if you sit outside and watch nature.

I sat outside my home all day long
and watched every bit of nature,
as intensely as possible.

Sadly, poetry did not happen.

But a crow came and ate the nuts
I had put close by.

What does that mean to my poetry?

Oh man! Why do we take up shame?
Do we not know the devil became arrogant because of it?
whispering in our ears, accepting it,
we bring each other down
to feel better about ourselves,
controlling each other, afraid,
living in arrogance,
we fall into the pits of hell,
thinking by doing so
we will save ourselves,
we have become shameless,
in pain,
burning inside the devils flames,
and we don't even realize it.

there is a bear here that I have not mentioned a while as someone copied so he went quiet yet

still here
told him yesterday what happened and

he sat still and constant as always and was pleased

is pleased

there are no moose here nor noise as predicted

if there were
we would also have conversations
CRIES

I write these words
to exist you

trap you
in this mesh

of consonants &
vowels

flesh you out
into sounds

here you are again
dressed in your yellow dress

a marigold
held between finger and thumb

offered to me
your young son

the old man
who now

writes to keep you
alive

until the pen
falls from his hand

and he cries

he cries

cries.
