This I find
This I know
A lot in life
Comes and goes

Here one minute
Gone the next
Smack dab in it
Nothing left

Just when you
Get used to it
Disappears
Up and splits

Leave it all
Far behind
Sayonara
Till next time

This I know
This I find
Things come and go
A lot in life
flower of passion
petals like moist lips in rain
spring bids good morning.
Here's a link to my you tube channel where I read my poetry.

The things I'm told
I do not know
They once were clear
But now I question them with desperation
Is this real?
Is this truth?
Of course this is reality he says
Behold
This is truth
There's no being misled
Why would someone deceive you just to get ahead?
Or is it...
Just to get IN your head?
My mind is fine
I know to believe the things I've been told
No need to question what he's said
I go ahead and trust with conviction
I tell you no lies...
Brain squeaks a bit here
I'm filled with fear
Is that truth or am i mistaken?
Did that really happen?
I hear these words that now make no sense
These stories that don't add up
They just don't make sense
Are they jumbled in my mind?
Or is everything just fine?
Am I going crazy?
I'm not sure
Am I?

This was in response to something a random person was trying to do for a person they cared about. It was just a quick poem/haiku of sorts. Don't judge for the quickness! Lol

Arouse The Essence Of Light
Dancing Vibrantly
Standing at the portal
Of the massive stone engender
Clenching as the sweat
Runs down the sinews of my arm,
Glaring at the enemy's
Rendition of surrender
And knowing, well within,
Why he means to do me harm.

Watching so acutely
For the sliding of his eyeball
Inching to the left
In a slithering advance,
Waiting for the quiver
Of deception's feint, so ribald,
Then lunging with the blade
At his severanced last dance.

Gleeful parasites intent on obliteration
feed on the stillness.
Starlight can't warm the damp grass.
If only he had cosied up once
for one last chance
to embrace.
