Thoughts flow through my head
The words come so easy
My words spoken
My words written
They are so different
Yet I mean the same thing
I guess it must be
Better in a letter
Between me and the piece of paper
There is no lying
It’s just natural
The words flow through my pen
No reaction from the paper
Only to record what I want it to say
My true self, my true inside
These shine through
Alone in my thoughts
True words are written
My heart and head
Working together
They are embedded into words
Transferred to paper
These words are always better
Better in a letter
I can tell you all that I want to say
Once it is spoken
I can’t ever take it back
It’s already out there
I only have that one shot
To get it just right
What did you say?
What was I going to say
**** I lost it
I said it
I said what I meant
You don’t understand
Tell you again
What did I say
What did I mean
Let’s make this easy
I’ll write it all down
Give you this paper
With my all on it
It’s always
Better in a letter

When you’re in
You’re in the know
You’re inconceivable and indestructible
You’re an individual, independent
When you’re out
You’re out of control
You’re outlandish and out for anything
You’re an outsider, outcast
Which one do you prefer
Inside in the warm
Or out in the cold
In or out
You have to choose
In the light
Or out in the shadows
Which one are you
You have a choice
So who are you
In or out

Another typical afternoon
In the Sunshower State
South Florida we call it
On my way in to work
Listening to music
Phone in hand
Then it happened
I slipped and fell
My phone now airborne
Me on the ground
No good could come from this
Once it met with the pavement
It did three spinning backflips
Then stuck the landing
The screen now cracked
Now I'm left living phoneless
A liberated attachment
No phone calls, texts or e-mails
No random googling or facebook status checks
Freedom from complications
These are the first few days
Then it sinks in
Detachment from the world around me
In these digital days
I have lost my lifeline
No quick access to information
No calling for help
Disconnected from everyone
And everything around me
A week wait for the repair
My dependency has become clear
If you don't want to admit it
It's ok, we all have it
This is just my story
How I found out about
My cellular co-dependency

A thought
A desire
A life
Can you end it
Is it worth it
Is it that bad
How can it be
Look what you leave behind
Do you not care at all
Family and friends
Loved ones
All because you can't anymore
Go ahead and be selfish
If you do it
Then you're not a friend
Not a family member
You're no one at all
Think about it
There's so much more to life
It will get better
We're all here to help
........
You did it anyways
I tried to help
We all tried
Where are you now
Not here
Not there
Not him
Not her
You've become
No one at all

Do you ever regret anything?
Do you ever wish that you could take certain things back?
Some things are done for the best
Some of them hurt
Not everything is how it seems at first
Sometimes you need to wait
Wait to see how it turns out
The end results are worth it
Pain and hurt
Happiness and joy
Which one is better
They go hand in hand
Pain then happiness
Hurt then joy
You must feel one to feel the other
I will feel that pain
Just to feel the pure happiness
Sometimes you need to make sacrifices
You do this only for the better
For the pain comes first
Then the joy follows
Not always right away
This wait hurts as well
The end result however
This is the treasure
For it is all worth while
The overwhelming feeling
Insurmountable
Unimaginable
It was worth it
The joy and happiness that you now feel
Wipes away all the pain and hurt into the past
Wrapped up in these new feelings
I ask you if it was worth it all
From pain and hurt
To joy and happiness
The journey was long
But worth it all in the end

Our relationship is a rollercoaster
It has ups and downs
Twists and turns
Whatever comes next
I'm glad it's you by my side
We're in this together
My head is racing
My heart is pounding
I'm ready for it
Twisted up inside
Thrown through loops
What are we doing
It looked life fun from the outside
Strapped in together
It's me and you
We've made this commitment
Ride it until the end
There is no getting off in the middle
In it together
Through the ups and downs
Lefts and rights
The ride isn't over
We were having so much fun
What happened
It's still the same ride
Nothing has changed
Why does it feel so different
Is this still the same ride
Is it over
Are we done
The excitement is over
The fun has ended
No more ups and downs
I've had enough
This rolllercoaster ride is finished
No refund
No going back
What's done
Is done
The ride has ended
We have become
We are
Done

A man sits on the side of the street
You look at him as you pass by
Who is this man
That holds out his cup
Taking whatever he can get
Asking for nothing at all
He has a story
That no one wants to hear
Who was that man
Where does he come from
What kind of life did he live
Has it been a good one
How did he end up on the streets
Can you help him
Can he help himself
Is he just another *** on the streets
You walk back to him
He's still holding out his cup
Always hoping for a lot
Yet he's gets so little
Clinging tightly onto what he has left
You ask him his story
It started with anger
Loneliness and destruction
Turned into hope
Happiness and inspiration
A man destroyed by drugs
He tells you he is happy now
He has found his inner peace
His message is strong
He's changed you
His story
His life
Inspirational
Hopeful
Peaceful
He's taken me
He's gone
Full circle
Worthy of that
Second Impression

You make me hungry
Craving your presence
Eating up your every word and look
An insatiable appetite for your smile
Comfort in getting lost in you
This is a hunger that I don't want satisfied
Starving for more of you, all of you
A taste of you is not enough
No snack will do either
A lifelong feast is in order
A never-ending desire for you
I want to be love drunk with you
Lost within you, our world
You flll me up
In ways that I didn't know that I needed
Make me stronger
Better version of me
I need more of you
I want it all
I yearn for it
You
My hunger grows
Day by day
I eat it up
Still, always
Wanting more
Craving
Needing more
I'll stay hungry for you

I want to feel
Without fear of repercussions
I want to trust
Without fear of betrayal
I want to believe
Without fear of being lied to
I want to let go
Without fear of being lost
I want to go all in
Without fear of abandonment
I want to relax
Without fear of not being ready
I want to find myself
Without fear of losing my identity
I want to lose this self built identity
Without fear of losing myself
I want to love
Without fear of not being loved
I want to give my all
Without fear of not getting it back
I want
Without fear

You make me smile
Like I have never before
You make me feel
In ways I didn't know I could
You make me see a future
That I didn't know was possible
You make me need
A desire to build a meaningful life
You make me happy
Experiencing new highs
You make me want to be better
Be the best version of me
You make me want to fight
For me, for you, for us
You make me want you
To love, cherish and adore
You make me make want this life
A life fulfilled
You make me
Us
