to pretend to be a beat
with the violent word throbbing at my throat

I hit the words out myself
onto the screen
like a real 21st century super-man.

Painting a picture appeals to me
but it does not come to me.
The words are false
pretentious
liars!

But carving my thought,
not plural,
into the ****** face of my monitor
comes as naturally as
the crack
of the belt on
Jenna.

The softness of the Japense writer is not lost on me
when input
but when output
comes an ugly nausea
of emasculation.

I cannot pretend to be gentle.
Instead I am inspired
by a violent word
