I feel you. This poem is basically the definition of my entire existence, but it's been so long, and the mask is such a part of me already, it's just so hard to take it off. I always think: even if people knew, would they care? To risk being looked down upon and pitied is not something I would risk. HP has been of such a help, I find that I can be my true self (I think, I don't even know anymore). Beautiful poem. Really struck close to home.
