Why did you have to leave?
You were my light, my favorite person
You were there through everything,
and just like that
Gone.
No goodbye, none other than a note
and a call from your mom crying
Telling me I needed to fly out ASAP
Why?
I miss you everyday
Everyone wonders and asks
"Why do you always look at the sky?"
I never know how to answer, I just tear up a little more each time
I always remind myself how beautiful you look and how beautiful you make it each and everyday.
I wonder if your family sees the same thing.
I wonder if your room still looks the same
Or did your family change it.
I still don't understand that you are gone.
It's been over a year and I don't understand it.
I miss you everyday.
