Because the practical simulation that won't ever let us out of it's very pleasurable game of (unthoughtful) chances... It strikes us dead! When the very culprits, are our own deadbeat perspectives that begin showering us with guilt towards beliefs such as this. (Partially kidding/being sarcastic.) However, why is existing so exhausting...? Because your life is in the hands of your own such seeable choices (upon optionated/opinionated) decision-making that doesn't quite know of it's very own reality, just yet. That's why however young or old we might be...everything in the very end will make sense, when you confess as too WHY...you are truly "exhausted"? Anyways, something like that. But most importantly, keep track of your own inner willpower, my friend. Or else fate will charismatically tries and steal it for themselves! MUAHAHAHA! (Kidding about that last one, thou.)
