never heard of ghosting 
 I used to be a ghost writer but that's a different thing

I was so fascinated by this that I internet-searched the meaning of the word. Then I found some good quotes, including "One of the most insidious aspects of ghosting is that it doesn&#8217;t just cause you to question the validity of the relationship you had, it causes you to question yourself."  Like when somebody who had been a very good friend blocks you, and doesn't even tell you why. To me it seems a cowardly thing to do.
