what you're talking about is feeling invisible, not actually turning invisible, in which you can use to play pranks and not be noticed at all so that you can walk into target without everyone looking at you like you're a weirdo and judging you because of how you look. I'd convince people I was a ghost and scare them. granted, there are much better superpowers to have, but being invisible wouldn't be so bad. but feeling metaphorically invisible like no one notices you or cares, that, I understand.
