Your green eyes Watching the sun rise In the orange skies Crazy how fast the time flies I try to peel away my gaze But all I see is your face Left in a summer daze We’ll take our time, this love is not a race “Let’s get out of here” You’ll whisper in my ear How about we run To the California sun Run away together Put a sign on the door Saying we’ve gone to better weather And we don’t live here anymore Maybe we’ll regret it a ton But maybe we’ll have finally won All we have to do is run To the California sun
